Don't listen to the one 🌟 babies. It's solid.
It's a good light. Has long battery life. It's bright. It's solid.I went ahead and took a look at the one 🌟 reviews. They talked about the mount being complicated and hard to install. It's not.Although the pressure switch is a bit flimsy. I went ahead and ordered a better one from Amazon for $10. Disassembled and swamped the cable and switch, and now it's even better. Total I spent $40 on the light set up. But it's worth it.The box. The mount. The battery and charger. The flashlight. How strong and sturdy it is. It's definitely worth $30.

Worked as advertised.
This product arrived with everything listed, and works as expected. I have not yet mounted it onto an AR-15 platform. In hand tests it throws a nice beem about as far as I would be comfortable shooting at night in an open field setting. Obviously in a forested area near foliage will greatly reduce the lights reach.Until I have owned it awhile I can't vouch for the durability (so I withheld 1 star) . It does appear to be made well enough, so I expect it's treatment will dictate it's lifespan.I like that it is momentary or on/off without extra modes or beem adjustments. For camping flashlights I like low power drain modes. This light is is purpose built for a long throw and would not be suitable for closeup normal lighting around a tent.

Piece of junk
The flashlight itself is decent and bright. The mount is terrible, and there are no instructions, and the pressure switch is a piece of - - - -While installing the flashlight on my rifle, (upon actually figuring it out on my own), the pressure switch separated from the flashlight wire and I could never get it back in correctly. While the flashlight does work without it, it is useless to me with the pressure switch broken. Will spend the extra money to get a Surefire next time

Pros and cons of a great light
Loving this mounted on my rifle but let me break down my Pros and Cons.Pros:1. ALL needed parts! It has the light, both button and remote switch, charger, 2 batts, mount, and Allen keys all in 1 padded case.2. SUPER bright!3. Easy to mount and has quick release to use as a handheld light (release can easily be switched directions)Cons:Only 1 I found...using the remote switch instead of push on, release off it comes on once pushed and then does a slow strobe effect but at only 60-75% of full bright.I know strobe effect is good for disorienting in the dark but it acts more like a pulse not strobe. Went back to the button that I can push with my thumb with my foegrip hand.Otherwise I absolutely love this light and a great value!

Two ways to light up darkness
There are two ways to light up darkness, the sun and the Vastfire 1000 lumen flashlight. I am pleased with the multi-functional design that allows me to use it as a serious flashlight or as an add-on to a piece of tactical gear. This transition is easy because it comes with an end cap button for regular use and an end cap with a switch that has both momentary and toggle on/off and velcro mount. They thoughtfully designed the hard sided case with strap as well as providing an extra 18650 battery and wall charger. Even though this sounds like enough, and outside of the non-slip handle, my favorite piece in the box is the picatinny offset mount. That way I don’t have to move my scope or under rail gear.Because the body is made from hard anodized aluminum, it’s both lightweight and durable. I also like the fact it offers IPX-5 water resistance with the O-ring seals. This ensures the scalloped head is snug and water doesn’t get in.For the price, this flashlight is great for an introductory system.Techie stuff:* It uses the Cree XPL-V6 white LED* Fixed Beam only* 1000 lumens* 18650 Rechargeable battery* 3 hours and 45 minutes run time listedI gear for 2.5-3 hours based on battery history* Weight: 6.6oz* Body diameter: 1”* Head Diameter: 1.73”* Length: 6.2”

After 4 months I have had 2 replacements
I have purchased 2 of these lights and have had both replaced. Most recent replacement has quit working. It appears the lamp quits working consistently after 4 months of very little use. Like at first but not dependable.

One of my Best Buy’s to date
After many months of use I have to say for a sub 50 dollar light it outperforms lights costing double and triple , the light is so bright that I have to be careful cause it will blind someone or one of my many dogs , the batteries are top quality which I wasn’t expecting from such an inexpensive light and the charger works as it should , all in all I would have paid triple had I known just how good it actually is
