Generic party chocolates than good dark chocolate
These appear to be trying to imitate Napolitain style chocolate squares but the ad seems to have confused that with Neapolitan chocolate which is a completely different thing. There is absolutely no description provided in the ad to give you some perspective about the product. Presentation is tidy and in line with Napolitain squares. Small dark chocolate squares individually wrapped in silver foil giving them slightly upscale look. From distance they look fancier than what you get once opened. Chocolate is quite basic. The squares are thin and break apart with no force. They are not paper thin but nowhere near the hotel / party grade that you would like to serve. Taste is very sugar rich which to an extent hides the limited cocoa content. Like myself, if you enjoy proper dark chocolate taste and depth, these are not for you. Priced quite high as box of 50 costs AUD 48 which comes down to roughly a dollar a piece. For this price, I would have expecting more.
