Like everyone else I’m sure you’re seeing ads about the new pool clarity chemicals. For years we struggled to fight algae and keep the pool clean and clear. Nothing worked for us until we came across Arm and Hammer Clear Balance. This is by far the best low maintenance chemical pool tablet on the market. Every new pool owner experiences those first few years of a learning curve. You sort of feel like you should have paid more attention in 9th grade chemistry. We are well into year 14 and these Arm and Hammer tablets are the Best and most Effective. We opened a little late this year and had some green algae. We brushed, shocked and placed 3 inch chlorine tablets in the skimmer. We added 1 Arm and Hammer product per chlorine tab(just like the directions say). The next day the water was Crystal clear. I could clearly see the bottom (and all the areas I missed brushing - so we threw the robotic cleaner to finish up). We have an 20 x 40 which takes 8 - 10 hours to do a total circulation. We began using Arm and Hammer about 3 years ago. We have literally cut our trips to the pool store in half. Don’t forget you’re a pool owner…You still need to complete your weekly maintenance of brush, shock, algaecide, chlorine and water testing, but when you drop your Hammer in with the tablets. You’re saving your self time and money. Best value on the market right now. Yes they come together in one package, and yes some of them are broken. Just put them back together like a puzzle and add them to your skimmer. Go with this one. You’ll spend more time enjoying the pool than taking care of it! We went from light green and fuzzy to clear and blue in a day.

I have a small above ground pool and live in the South where pool maintenance is a must due to the long hot Summers. I add these tablets to my pool on a regular basis to keep my PH up as it tends to drop quickly. I throw one in my skimmer and it dissolves easily and doesn't add any cloudiness to the water. I have to balance the PH and Chlorine as adding these tends to drop my chlorine levels but its not difficult since they are in tablet form so there is no measuring. They are pricy but they do the trick and one box lasts me most of the Summer so I can recommend them

We only used chlorine tabs for over a year, but the weird smell of the water and the reaction my husband started getting PLUS no matter how many times we tested after endless combinations of adding other chemicals, we couldn't get our pool chemical levels right. We researched and found the info about the tabs were worth checking out. We are very happy. In just 2 weeks, the odor is gone (tho the water was always clear), hubby isn't having any more reactions and the levels are staying more steady... so this is a big yes from us 👍

We used 2 per week for 2 3in chlorine tablets in our 18ft by 48in pool and they worked to keep the water crystal clear. The only downside I would say, would be that I started to notice these little white balls floating from time to time. After reading up, they are a side effect from the balance tablets. I will say I havnt had a issue with cloudy ness since starting them with my chlorine, but I did find out we needed to add liquid chlorine once a week to help offset the high heat and heavy traffic.
