Best Value
When I sold my house I left my nice Samsung TV's with the buyer - TV's don't transport well and tech changes so rapidly. Left with no TV's in the new house I began shopping - so many sites, endless reviews, opinions out the whazoo. For starters, this set would be for casual watching in a bright room - news, some sports, an occasional movie. The obvious location would support up to a 65". While I am a big Samsung fan I feel like they are no longer as aggressive about leading the market, so I explored other options. I wanted to balance tech, picture quality and price. Firmly in the midrange category is this TCL QM7K. It hit all the discriminators - mini LED for great brightness and solid blacks, excellent PQ with good adjustability for movies, sports, gaming etc, and very good for a bright room. Given it is a 2025 the price was right. Amazon delivery was flawless, mounting and setup was easy, and connectivity to my network was without issue. The negatives are a cheap feeling remote and enough Google TV bloatware to choke a hippo. Sound is decent although the Bang & Olsen sound system is more marketing hype than performance - I brought my Sonos soundbar with me. All in all, great picture, very good price, and overall solid value.

The Ultimate "Dumb" TV Setup for Privacy Lovers
If you are conscious of privacy and tired of smart TVs selling your data to third parties, this is the perfect solution. Out of the box, this TV pairs flawlessly with the Apple TV 4K, delivering a premium, privacy-centered experience at a mid-range price. The picture quality is phenomenal, fully supporting Dolby Vision 4K at 60FPS and good, loud speakers. How to Set It Up for Total Privacy You can completely bypass the smart TV tracking by following these steps during the initial setup: Choose "Basic TV": When you first boot up the TV, you will have the option to choose Basic or Smart. Select Basic. Skip Wi-Fi Setup: Do not connect the TV to your wireless network. Congratulations, you now have a "dumb" TV! Plug and Play: Connect your Apple TV to the HDMI port. Enable CEC: Turn on HDMI-CEC in your Apple TV settings. The Result: A privacy-centered, offline display where everything is controlled perfectly with just the Apple TV remote. Power, volume, and input switching work flawlessly, you can tuck the TCL remote away in a drawer. โ ๏ธ Important Note on Mounting Screws Not Included: VESA mounting screws are not included in the box. You will need to provide your own hardware, and potentially some spacers for the bottom two mounting holes. It does include hardware for the included stand ONLY. Check the Manual: Hardware requirements vary depending on the screen size you order. Be sure to check the user manual on Amazon ahead of time to ensure you have the correct screw sizes on hand.

Best tv for your money
My old Hisense TV died and needed a new one. Thank goodness for the Prime sale. I was originally going to get a Samsung, but I didnโt want to spend so much on it. I found this TV from doing my own research. Iโm so glad I got this TV cuz the picture quality is amazing for the price. And the sound is awesome! You donโt need a soundbar for this. The built in subwoofers are great! The TV is easy to set up once you connect it to WiFi or ethernet. Thereโs no lag like iโve seen in older TCL TVโs. I love that it is compatible with Apple AirPlay. I didnโt mount it, but it is very stable on a TV stand. Highly recommend!

THE TV IS OUTSTANDING!
EDIT: The TV is AMAZING. The review still goes out to Amazon since it was shipped and sold by Amazon and Amazon Resale. The picture, colors, sound and everything is amazing. Especially for the kind of upgrade I made going from an older model LG smart 4K HDR TV. It is worth it! The size is perfect for my room, though maybe the 65inch would of been a slightly better view/size. But I am more than happy with it! It is comparable to even some top tier TV's since this is considered a mid-tier TV and what sold me is some youtube videos of it. Again, the Sound, Image/Color, Smoothness of the TV is worth it! ---------- I thought I'd be saving money from buying a "Used - Acceptable" condition TV from AMAZON who I could trust in shipping something that would arrived in the condition they've mentioned, BUT NO. They did a terrible job checking the TV if it had adequate protective packaging before being sent off. All it had was on one side of the display screen a cardboard with a thin piece of foam and the bottom a bit of the foam, but the surrounding had NOTHING else to protect the TV. It would OBVIOUSLY move around during shipping and get damaged but of course they didn't care. They couldn't put more protective material in on their part, sadly. They just sent it off to waste my time, take my money, and now I have to wait on my refund because of their fault... I had to waste my own time and gas to return it and I went again to BUY the TV AGAIN but this time, in a more better condition, "Like New". Still waiting on refund though. But you would think they would make it up to you or something but nah, they wouldn't do much. Even the delivery driver (FedEx) looked worried and wanted to make sure it wasn't his fault as the box looked destroyed and the power cable sticking out of the box (and a missing TV remote) and mentioned this is exactly how he received it. It was my first experience with "Amazon Warehouse" to receive something like that. Buyers beware of buying "Acceptable" condition items, because protective packaging might not be there. There was no mention in the description either!

Great upgrade
I upgrade to the QM7K from a 49S405 (49" from 2006). This was a huge upgrade for me. It easily connects to my wii-if and I even have an Ethernet port if wi-fi isn't enough. The HDMI, USB and optical ports are on the right side of the TV, so know that when you are planning any cable length, power is on the left. The software change of Roku to Google TV is great since I am already in the Google ecosystem. I was able to sign into all of my accounts easily and the picture looks great. I am in a bright room and the picture looks great. I still see some reflection from the window, however it's better than the previous TV I had. Colors are vibrant and the picture is clear. I am glad I spent the extra money on the QMK7 (vs the QMK6) as the sound is better than the S45H sound bar (non sub-woofer) I used on my old TV. The base is good, and the sound clarity sound deeper to me. The TV allows you to select different audio profiles like the soundbar offered. I was able to easily assemble the adjustable stand and easily carry it by myself. Over all this is a great purchase, and I now have a spare soundbar to put somewhere.

Nice TV, works great. No complaints. Have not owned it all that long.
I originally purchased a QM6K. Liked it but had to return it because the sound did not work. This is the replacement ( stepped up one model because they went on sale ). - Build quality is good. - Sound ( internal speakers ) is clear and sounds good. Not really a surround sound guy. - The picture is pretty awesome. The included picture is from a TV show ( not 4k ). The 4K content looks great. - Integration with google home is spot on and was painless to set up. You can turn the tv on and off, change the volume and pause it with google voice. You can do basic searches and check the weather by voice. The screen updates to show the reply. More in depth commands work but you have to get the wording correct. I've only had it for one day, but so far so good. I did buy the 4 year protection plan just because I am paranoid and have never owned a TCL product before.

Best TV I have ever owned!
The picture clarity, color, brightness, and sharpness are the best I have ever seen in any TV! It was very easy to connect all of my apps with the included Google TV. I was looking for a TV with a center pedestal stand, and TCL was one of the few manufacturers to make such a model at this size. It is very stable and sturdy. I also purchased a TCL S55H 2.1 soundbar with subwoofer to go with this, and the incredible surround sound turns my living room into a home theatre! I highly recommend this amazing TV.

Great picture and audio, lots off features and easy to use.
Ive been in the TV support business for 20 years, I upgraded from a LG Model 55LS5700 which served me well for the last 13 years. I've had this TV for 6 months and no issues so far! I decided on this 65" QM7K series for lots of reasons, but mainly due to the mini QLED which improved the picture quality and the advanced audio capabilities. The B&O audio is great, and the sound quality is really good even without a soundbar, which is hard to find on a TV these days. But also incorporates bluetooth output to headphone and the sort, to help if you have older ears. The layout is straight-forward so it is easy to set up. It has a boatload of features that are pretty neat. It is far more responsive than the firestick I used with my previous TV, and because it is Google it makes finding compatible apps much easier. The remote-control light on touch and is light and easy to use. For the price the TV is a solid buy.
