ELEMIS Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm, 3-in-1 Hydrating Facial Cleanser

This is my first time trying Elemis and I really love it! This cleansing balm smells amazing and is easy to use. I ordered this to use in place of my typical oil cleanser. I’ve never used a balm before and was pleasantly surprised at how easily it removes without leaving a film. A little goes a long way, so this jar will last quite a while. It just takes a tiny amount of this cleanser to cleanse my face. It spreads really easily once warmed up on the skin. It feels so luxurious on the skin. I massage it in with my hands and then add a little water at the end to emulsify the oil. Once it turns white, I remove it with a wet cloth. It very easily removes makeup and sunscreen leaving my skin clean, but not stripped. I have combination oily skin, and love that this doesn’t leave an oily residue. Using a cleansing oil (or in this case, balm) has been a complete game changer for my skin. I no longer get breakouts and my pores stay relatively clear. I would recommend this cleansing balm to anyone! It’s worth the splurge in my opinion!

Love Elemis cleansing balm, have tried others and keep going back. This has been the best for my dehydrated mature skin. Does not irritate and is not hard to remove; lathers nicely with warm water, removes my makeup effectively, I do double cleanse, using this as my first step. I’ve tried all of the scents, the original and green fig are my favorites. I do like herbal scents.

This is my 3rd jar. Love it! Moisturizes, takes off makeup, then wash away with warm washcloth. Soothing too. An indulgence.

Love, love, love! The first cleanser that I look forward to using. The smell is wonderful, it feels like silk and is just the right consistency. Wipes off easily and doesn’t leave my skin feeling greasy or dry, just perfectly hydrated. Gets all the makeup off easily since I use a moisturizer cloth to wipe it off. It is expensive, but is excellent quality. My esthetician even commented on my last facial that my skin was completely different (for the better). I use the balm for cleansing, then put on my serums, then apply either the daytime or nighttime Elemis marine cream.

I love Elemis! This Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm Makeup Remover in Black Cherry was 45% off during Prime Days. I suspect it was at that price bc this product was beginning to separate a bit. That's why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. But not to worry! It easily mixes with your finger. Before you use, be sure to watch a video which explains the steps. It's an extremely effective makeup remover which does not irritate skin. Your skin will be soft and smooth.

This really suits my skin, I wish I had found it years ago. An Elemis therapist on a cruise liner spa recommended it to me as she said my skin wasn’t hydrated enough, it’s made a huge difference

The Pro-Collagen cleansing balm is great for double cleansing! I use this balm first (I use the original scent, but the Rose and the naked balm are great too!), then follow with my 2nd face wash/cleanser. Also important to tell you that I have very sensitive skin, and this balm has never irritated it. It’s great for getting makeup and sunscreen off your face before bed during part 1 of your double cleanse! I love the smell too-so luxurious! This small size is really good for travel, but I normally get the larger size for use at home (more product for your money). I will say Elemis’ cleansing balms are definitely pricey, but so far it’s my favorite! I have tried quite a few cleansing balms, and Elemis just has such a great texture and smell! It really comes down to if you are willing to pay more $ for this product. Some months I am, and some not so much depending on my budget. If you are trying it for the first time obviously get this small size so you can see if you even like it!

Elemis products are the best. This smells amazing and works great. Skin feels great.

Gently cleanses and does not dry skin. There is a lingering scent after wash. I am not a huge fan of products with added fragrance but this one does not hurt my skin. Writing this review after 3 weeks of usage.

Works and smell great

Da sempre amante di sieri e creme, da qualche mese ho iniziato a fare 2 volte al giorno (mattina e sera) la skincare, seguendo quello che viene definito "il metodo coreano". Tale metodo richiede i seguenti passaggi: 1) Prima detersione: burro struccante, a seguito del quale è necessario passare un panno umido sul viso per rimuovere i residui. 2) Seconda detersione: detergente schiumogeno; anche dopo questo secondo passaggio è necessario passare un panno umido. 3) Scrub (2 volte a settimana) 4) Tonico viso, da tamponare con i polpastrelli 5) Maschera in tessuto (1 volta al giorno) 6) Essenza (grande sconosciuta per noi occidentali) 7) Siero 8) Crema contorno occhi/patch per le occhiaie 9) Crema idratante 10) Protezione solare 50+ (solo la mattina) Questo burro struccante è eccezionale e prepara al meglio la mia pelle per tutti gli altri passaggi. Rimuove facilmente anche il trucco waterproof e le tinte labbra normalmente più difficili da rimuovere. Trovo l'odore molto gradevole, simile a quello delle caramelle balsamiche che acquisto solitamente in parafarmacia. E' molto delicato, ma per evitare il bruciore agli occhi consiglio - dopo averlo applicato - di passare un panno umido sugli occhi e, solo dopo, procedere al risciacquo. Anche se applicato su pelle non truccata è favoloso: si ha proprio una sensazione di "pulizia", si sente che rimuove tutto lo sporco e l'inquinamento dal viso. Unica nota "negativa": dai numerosi video visti sui social credevo bastasse davvero pochissimo prodotto per struccare il viso, ma in realtà serve una noce di prodotto per struccare per bene il tutto (ed io non uso truccarmi molto); è sicuramente un qualcosa da tenere in considerazione dato il prezzo comunque elevato di questo burro. Ad ogni modo consiglio vivamente il prodotto, la differenza sulla pelle si nota tantissimo!!
