Replaced BMW key fob batteries
Works perfectly, BMW dealer had said the battery in key fob is not replaceable and I had to pay $400 for a new key. I fixed both key fobs with $12

Make sure you know what type you need
When you order these batteries you must make sure of the tab locations this one was returned because they were at 90°, the one I needed was 180°.

It works
Opening the original case requires careful cutting (to prevent injury) and prying (to prevent damaging the PCB board) but the soldering work is easy. The battery fits well, only the legs are long and needed to be bent in place before soldering. The remote works right after.
