So far, so good!
I purchased these batteries to go with the new grip I bought for my Rebel XTi.I wish I had counted how many frames I took before the batteries went dead, but it seemed like I was shooting forever (keep in mind I usually use an external flash when needed).I DID expect the built-in flash to charge a little quicker since you've got two batteries wired (I assume) in parallel in the grip. This did not turn out to be the case, but as I say, I use an external so no big deal. The price certainly beat the Name-Brand batteries and the battery life meter on the camera operated correctly (unlike some cameras when used with third-party batteries).Whether these batteries will hold up through multiple cycles remains to be seen, but as I say: So far, so good!

Good as any batteries - charger needs design re-working
I got this because I lost my original Dig. Rebel XT charger. I needed a charger, but didn't want to spend 50 dollars on one from Canon. The extra batters work great in my camera, I dont know if their battery life compares to the original, because i haven't ran them down yet, but they dont seem very bad, and now I have three batteries, so it doesn't really matter if they last a little bit less. The charger works fine, it holds the batteries weird. They have to be in the center of it, and it took me a couple tries to figure out how to get them in there, it's not a very good design, but it works for now.

Works great, but wrong model batteries?
As this kit was rather inexpensive, I decided to try it out. While these batteries are listed for the Canon XT, they have a different model number than my OEM batteries. OEM are listed as NB-2LH as opposed to NB-2L. Perhaps it doesn't make a difference as these batteries do work in in my camera and I seem to get quite a few shots from them. I think I was close to about 600 shots on a full charge (no flash). My only complaint is that my car charger was broken upon arrival. It wasn't a big issue to me as I use a power inverter in my vehicle, but it seems like it is pretty cheap quality.

Pleased
Frankly, I was suspicious about the quality of the item before purchasing it. The price was so low when you consider that Canon wants the same items for almost $100, then I remembered I was buying this through Amazon. So I took a chance, knowing that the purchase would be backed by Amazon. I am very pleased with quality and functionality. The batteries are a perfect replacement for the OEM battery and the charger works. The only observation is that it appears the charger takes a bit longer than the OEM charger to charge a battery, but with three batteries that is not an issue for me. I did note that the OEM battery is rated at 7.4V 720mAh and these batteries are rated at 7.4V 1000mAh. I'm not sure what the difference is or if that makes the OEM battery better or worse.

great product
batteries hold their charge well (thought slightly less than the original battery, but since they are #2 & #3 as back-ups, it doesn't really matter). The charger works great - charges quickly and reliably. I have not had any problems with this product since purchasing it 6 months ago. I have yet to use the car charger cable, but the wall unit works excellent. I purchased it to replace my charger that I lost with my camera bag while hiking up a mountain over the summer. If the car charging cable works as well as the rest of the product tho, it's totally worth the price. I would recommend this product. (The batteries also come with a little cover, which makes me feel better about storing them in the camera case when not in use)

Battery Capacity measured a tad lower than Real Canon battery
I ran the batteries on my standalone battery charger/discharger/tester for a few cycles to check capacity.Capacity was about 700mAh just a tiny bit lower than the canon battery, but much lower than the ludicrous marked capacity on the battery. (1800mAh). No surprise, they would have to be some amazing new breakthrough technology to achieve that. The battery does have a real temperature sensor in it, unlike some other cheap clone batteries which replace the thermistor with a fixed resistor. The battery plastic housing is very thin and weak because it does not conform to battery closely resulting in one battery being damaged in the mail, as it was not padded. The charger seemed to charge the batteries ok in a couple of uses , it is a bit larger than the real canon charger.

Not as pictured
The items pictured are completely different than what I received. Instead of 1800 mAh batteries, I received 900 mAh--that should be half the battery life as those advertised in the picture. I was quite surprised to see such a good price for 1800's! Still, this is very misleading and somewhat of a disappointment. Oh well...you get two of them! :)The battery charger does not have the "flip out" electric plug for the wall socket, as pictured; instead, it has a removable adapter piece that plugs into the bottom at a right angle. This should be rather interesting when trying to charge.Again... for the price, you can't really complain too much. I would expect the pictures to be consistent with what the product I received though.

Work as good as Canon
I have not been able to test these batteries, but in standard usage I would say that they hold a charge just as good as the original battery. They have basically the same build quality and look very similar to the OEM batteries. The charger works great and is very compact. It seems to charge the batteries quickly and I have never had a problem with it. The car charger is a great add-on for if you are going on a long trip and won't have access to a wall outlet.I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking to replace, or buy additional, canon batteries. It is a very cheap alternative to original batteries, and seems to work just as good.
