When I go outside at night I fell safe knowing I have great light. And knowing it can be used on defense from animals is great.

Love the shape of the Flashlight, works fine. My complaint has to do with the part that holds the 3 AAA batteries. It's very flimsy and it broke. I've sent the company 2 emails requesting a new part and that I'm willing to pay for it. No response from the company. So Brilex people, if you read this review, please send me a new part that holds the 3 AAA batteries...

I bought these as Christmas gifts and birthday gifts for everyone in my family that has a car. It’s perfect for changing a tire on a dark night and extra protection.

Perfect item for multiple uses. Flashlight is wide and bright and baton great size for unexpected and unwelcome visitors

Its good enough to defend yourself when you use it as a baton, also the light is bright and powerful when charge properly. The only annoying thing Infound that the flashlight has is that little key chain around it, I believe that the developers got lazy trying to come up witha more sophisticated way to improve this as far as making it more tactical both to use it and carry it at work. Also, you the seller, should add a rechargeable battery that could come with it.

I'd be surprised if this is 800 lumens (not as bright as others I have), but, handy to keep in a vehicle.

Great cheap flashlight, bright enough even to see in daylight, and extends to 1-2 feet or so. Only downside we’ve found so far is it seems very light, not much weight behind your swing if you ever need to defend yourself with it. Takes aaa batteries that did not come with our product
