I bought this 5 quart Dutch oven to bake my sourdough bread and it’s perfect! I get the best rise out of my loaves and they turn out beautifully. This size really is the perfect size. I have a 7.5 quart size and it’s too big. I never get the rise like I do with the 5 quart. I think it’s because the bread spreads out instead of up. I highly recommend.

My hands do not work as good as they used to work. This pot made emptying out the liquid possible for me again.
