How hard would this be for a 5 y/o to pedal up a fairly steep hill?

My 5 year old can pedal up into the garage but a steeper incline would be difficult. it also does not work well on grass or dirt, only paved or hard surface areas

Both my sons 5 and 7 have this go kart and I would say pavement is definitely best, they have trouble pedaling through the grass. I wouldn't purchase this if you have no pavement.
