I tried this one and another style. For me, this one wasn't as comfortable. So, I returned it. There wasn't anything bad about it, it just didn't fit. I think trying one or more styles is helpful.

I guess this would depend on the person. Personally I did not like the way it fit, but I do have a short neck.

I am hyper mobile and often times hyperextend around my occipital bones and wearing this soft collar on long road trips or when I am behind a computer for hours gives me proprioception feedback to make sure that I am not hyperextending. I haven’t found that I need to use the hard plastic with it. I wish that the sleeve that went over it to keep it clean so you can wash it went all the way around because my hair often times gets stuck in the Velcro and that is my only complaint. I have a lot of hair so it’s hard to contain that is not the neck brace‘s fault.

I got this for my mom that had a stroke. Her neck kept wanting to bend down and I tried a few other neck supports prior but none did the job of actually keeping the neck straight. This neck brace did the trick! She wore it for a few weeks and now her neck is strong enough to hold up by herself. HIGHLY SATISFIED! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!
