Shark replacement
This robot vacuum is awesome! I have not tried the mopping capabilities as I did not purchase it for that function. This vacuum is very quiet, cleans very well the only hiccup was I had a loose string on a rug and this stopped the Robo rock temporarily. Was easy to fix and continue to clean. Easy to map and was a good value for the cost.

Very happy with this robot!
I love this thing :) I had a different brand robot vacuum and the battery died. There are some things I don't mess with, and it was worn out anyway, so I thought I'd try something new. I rarely if ever will use it for mopping so this is just my take on vacuuming. There is alot of tweaking that needs to go on to get it right for your house but it's not complicated. I'm only a few days in but these are my thought so far... Things I love: I can set up breaks in vacuuming time when it will bring itself back to the tower to empty the tank then return to what it was doing. I don't have to go around turning on all the lights hoping the vacuum could see. There aren't multiple filters that I have to clean after a room or two. I know all those filters were probably a better filter system, but I "hired" the robot to do this - don't bother me :) The first time I sent this around the house was about a week without vacuuming. We have a senior lab and there was alot of fur. Not a problem - yay! Thinks I like: It really did a good job of mapping the house by just going around the edges and when it goes into the room it covers everything it can. I can send it to whatever room to clean and change the settings if I want to do a deep clean. I know this is pretty standard but nonetheless it's nice :) It's pretty quiet and smooth. It's not silent but it's not an uncomfortable sound. It glides smoothly on carpet. Selectively deaf and blind senior lab who looks at you like you can go take a hike when you ask her to move. They haven't had a standoff yet but I'm hopeful the vacuum will take the high road :) Things I'm not crazy about: Am I the only one who thinks that little tiny brush is not doing squat? I've seen it on alot of them but it's so soft and flexible - why? :) We have a sunken living room so it doesn't know where the edge of the stair is. It's been a multiple try process adding a "wall", so it goes close to the edge but not fall over. Sometimes it thinks our floor vent is an edge. I guess it depends on the way it hits it. The battery isn't as long lasting as I thought it would be. I do split up the vacuuming into rooms or groups but it would be nice to do room after room without having to wait for it to recharge. Maybe this will come with it being more familiar with the areas. The tank lid isn't on hinges so you have to pop it off. Any time I've done this when it was in the self empty station to check on the tank (it was empty!) but then the vacuum stared going somewhere. Things that make me say hmmmmm or giggle a little: I swept out between the washer and dryer and left a fluff pile of dog fur. The vacuum thought it was an obstacle :) I picked up a rug that I keep under a rolling chair because we will be using that table for a dinner. The vacuum avoided the area. It was a very thin carpet mat so I'm not sure why it did that. Maybe because I split one room into 2 sections because it did remap that room but knew the space was there.

Broke immediately after the one year warranty
Update: The insurance plan I purchased on Amazon for electronics was able to fix this vacuum for me. The vacuum is repaired for now and I’m glad I choose to have a multiple device insurance because I’d otherwise be throwing this in the trash. I will update as to how long the vacuum holds up after this repair but since it’s broken down multiple times…I’m guessing I may have ongoing problems Original review: I do not recommend this vacuum….it was great at first……I spent a ton of money on this as a gift for my spouse. He loves technology and set everything up and we had a few problems but nothing that prevented it from working entirely ….until we were a month past the warranty period when the whole thing just stopped working. It’s like a $600 vacuum that just crapped out on us in 13 months. This is not the only problem we ran into…..several months in we had to order replacement parts and there are several things that have needed replacing since I purchased it. The company was not much help as we were a mere 30 days past the warranty period and they already had their money so…. Luckily I had a multi device insurance plan which I pay $16 a month for and it covers this. We have to pack it up and send it in and pay shipping and a deductible….and honestly? I’m personally a bit old school. I would have never purchased this for myself but as a very nice gift for my spouse? Sure. I will do that. For $600 I might as well have hired a personal maid to come in once a month and vacuum. This vacuum is overpriced and I’ve found every problem with it just an unnecessary pain. It’s hardly a year old and already broken down multiple times. If I did not have an extra insurance policy on electronics this would be a $600 piece of garbage. It is not durable. The vacuum was subjected to a reasonable amount of mess (mostly just dust and a bit of cat fur from 2 cats, there are no small children in the house). We did not even run it daily because it annoyed me. It’s loud and requires everything to be neat and tidy or it will get stuck on random things like cords, or the random shirt my teenage daughter left laying on the floor. We ran it every three days and it couldn’t even handle that for 13 months. It was subjected to minimal wear and tear. I regret buying it and caution anyone who is considering it to choose a company with a longer warranty. For this price I would automatically assume a 3 yr warranty. But nope. 12 months and then you are on your own if anything happens. Thank goodness for the extra insurance or I would be throwing it in the trash. The company was unhelpful, basically just like “yep, you’re past the warranty and SOL”. If you purchase this make sure you invest in a separate insurance plan. Even then…..it all just seems so unnecessary as I have a riccar vacuum that has lasted 15 years (and literally raising a child) without a problem. This robot stuff just seems unnecessary for me but my husband really enjoys tech things like this so I wanted to get him something special. It was special all the way up until it crapped out. I will update if the insurance is able to fix the vacuum or replace it. But just a warning to others I have not found this vacuum to be easy to use, nor has it been a problem free year. Seems something always needed replacing, resetting and in general just a lot of kinks. I would opt for a different gift if I could go back and choose something different. This has mostly been a pain and a large investment that will likely end in a $600 loss. Not a happy customer. This is just too much money and it isn’t durable. It also isn’t “smart” like it claims. It’s supposed to go around objects in the way but routinely attempted to vacuum up anything laying on the floor. You essentially have to pre-clean everything prior to the scheduled vacuuming. Lots of work that I honestly think I could simply do myself with my trusty Riccar that has only needed service twice in 15 yrs. Do not recommend this.
