.......in Zeiten wo alles nach Umweltschutz und Verpackungsmüll schreit stellt sich mir die Frage: Muß es eigentlich sein, das man Artikel der Größe 3cm x 3cm x 1cm in einem Karton versendet der 25 cm x 30cm groß ist??

Does what it says
I bought a 256GB one for ~30 USD, tested for its true size by filling 60% of it and there were no errors. Ideally you-d fill the whole thing, but when shady companies fake storage size it-s always going to be a lot smaller than advertised, so this should suffice. Of course, you should test y our own card if you get one.
