Clear and concise
Great book for looking at the life of silkworms with your children. We used this book whilst studying James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl. It was a perfect supplement for a quick side study. The photos are large and the writing easy to read so great for young independent readers also. All you need to know about silkworms in this short book.Highly recommended.

Silkworm
This book was the best book on silkworms that I have read to my first grade class. It was grade level appropriate, not too wordy, and had beautiful illustrations. The information that I read to my class was excellent and concise.

best book ever
Do you like gross stuff? Then you should read Life Cycle of a Silkworm. One reason is it is gross. For example it has a gross silkworm on the front cover of the book. Also the book has chapters. For example it has Meet the Silkworm, and Egg. Another reason itโs about a life cycle of a Silkworm. It goes like this: egg, larva, pupa, silk moth. I think Life Cycle of a Silkworm is the best book ever.By Annie First Grader 1A

great resource book
If you are doing a unit on silkworms or insects, this book is a great resource for educators. The book offers many wonderful photographs of each stage in the life cycle. Every page has a timeline that shows the life cycle of a silk worm. The text is brief and informative, perfect for younger students. This book can also be used to teach students how to read informational text. There is a table of contents, bolded words, glossary, and index. Highly recommended!
