These are great for me. I have debilitating stomach condition I can't eat big meals so I try to get as much protein as possible. I search for small things with bigger protein. Don't get these thinking about reg pop tarts they are expensive but for me well worth pre pkg take along meal for me they have several flavors they are soft and the best one is brown sugar Review: I think there are two things people need to consider when trying a product like this. These are replacements for Pop-Tarts. If you don't know what a Pop-Tart is, or aren't looking for a Pop-Tart like product, this isn't for you. Pop-Tarts are junk food and are not some culinary delicacy. Secondly, this is for those that need a bump in protein or are calorie counting and need to meet macros. The first two ingredients are Casein and Whey protein. These are slow digesting and rapid digesting protein ingredients. These are powdery and milky ingredients commonly used as the base for protein powders. This is an approximation of junk food with some flavor compromises that are common with products like this, that allow for some guilty pleasure. Being sweet is expected but this is still not as sweet as a real Pop-Tart. It tastes "off" or "powdery" is also expected, considering its primary ingredients. Getting that out of the way, I think Legendary makes great approximations of the products they're mimicking with higher protein content that allows individuals a chance to eat "junk food" with some benefits of meeting macros and calorie goals. Products like this are generally more expensive than the cheaper real product. I would suggest finding these locally if possible before buying an entire box. At least in the US, these are commonly found in Target and some grocery stores. I would try a single pack before committing to a full box to see if this product is for you.

"If I could give 0 stars....I WOULD!" I almost *never* leave reviews unless something really impresses. This actually did. Extremely negatively. The photos and packaging are so blatantly false I think McDonald's could learn a thing or two from these guys on advertising. I've been on a low carb diet for a few months and recently had a hankering for an overly sweet garbage Poptart pastry. I saw these and thought "It looks gooey, if I can get the edges crisped up a bit, and its a decent facsimile of one, score." My friends, this is *not* a healthy Poptart. This isn't even a Poptarts 3rd cousin. First of all, its not a totally encased pastry like a Poptart, its filling is open to the world. Like a giant Fig Newton. I thought that was kind of silly, if I throw it in the toaster or microwave, wouldn't that delicious filling leak out? No worries about that because.... My second point. The filling is a gross, dry, paste. I'll be honest, if it wasn't red, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the paste and the pastry. I know ChocZero and some other companies make a decent low carb jam, so I thought this would be similar to that. Similar to what they have in the ad. It's most assuredly is not. At 8 net carbs, the strawberry ones that I received (pictured, Expiration 5/2026) have absolutely no business tasting this bad. If you're on a low carb diet, keto, or diabetic. Do yourself a favor and find a little treat from someplace else. ChocZero, Quest, Barebells, literally anywhere else. They have less carbs, taste better, and actually do a decent representation of whatever it is they're trying to copy.

Let's talk about Legendary keto pastries. I've been on a low carb diet for a couple years now and was looking for something quick I could eat for breakfast. It tried the chocolate, strawberry (this one), blueberry, and cherry. They're all ok. They're not pop-tarts, but they're ok. Eventually I moved full keto and gave these up. They started tasting too sweet, and I couldn't justify the $30+ price tag on a box of 10 of them. They're just too expensive. In my mind they're a good transition snack into a keto diet or maybe an occasional snack. I don't recommend them as a daily meal replacement.

The flavor is good and no digestion issues. However this is still "junk food" due to the unhealthy oils so while it's better than a sugary, high fructose Pop Tart, it's should still be an occasional treat not an every day indulgence. Fortunately the price helps with that.
