Nighthawk still rolling out great products
Easy to set up! Once we got all our Wifi information matched up everything reconnected almost flawlessly, but keep in mind you have to have the password and username the exact same as your old Nighthawk router and it won't mess anything up. It's noticably faster and the security they offer a free trial on will likely be worth the cost. The Internet has stayed stable, still covers the same distance our previous AC2600 did and although it's taller it fit just right. All in all happy with the purchase.

Recommend this product for ease of setup
Easy to set up with the instructions. Design requires it sits on a shelf as there is no way to hang it (last one was able to hand on the wall). Does not require a lot of space though. Works well and is faster than previous router. Good value for our needs.

Perfect replacement for my aging 2.4GHz WiFi router
The manual wasn't lying when it said it would take about 20 minutes to set up the NETGEAR Nighthawk. There was nary a hiccup when it came time to reconnecting my Nest thermostat and smoke detectors, which can be quite persnickety when it comes to dealing with multi-frequency networks (I couldn't them to play nicely with a new multi-frequency gaming router from ASUS, forcing me to return it and go back to my old, slow single-band router until I found the Nighthawk). 10 minutes after setting up the router, I was able to manage to update the router's firmware and create a guest WiFi network. I was a little bit skeptical of using an app to get things started, but I was pleasantly surprised as to how intuitive and downright helpful. All in all, I would definitely say

Quality router, fast enough for most household uses
It's easy to set up, whether via the web interface or the phone app. It's plenty fast, fast enough that WiFi is not the speed limit with our 500 Gbps Internet service. Readyshare works well, too, turning the router into a cheap and easy local file server.

Great Experience
I have always used. Netgear routers, well since they've been around, and have always had a very good experience. The Nighthawk was a needed upgrade. It far exceeded my expectations. Easy to setup with a superior signal.

Netgear Nighthawk Router RS180 - FRUSTRATING FAILURE
1 Star is too many stars. Netgear’s quality control has really dropped. I could not get this to work after weeks of troubleshooting. It would intermittently drop out and only give me 5 to 10 Mbps, when I am paying for 400 Mbps. I had to disable the Quality of Service (QoS), disable the 20/40 MHz coexistence feature, disable the parental controls and more to get it to finally start working consistently at 400 Mbps. It worked for a couple of days then back to intermittently dropping out and only give me 5 to 10 Mbps. I ran a Command Prompt Continuous Ping to Google’s Public DNS Server 8.8.8.8 and I could watch the intermittent activity. See attachment picture. I don't know what would change after a couple of days of working correctly. I used logical problem solving to eliminate my ISP, and my modem as the issue. I went back to my old Netgear R6400v2 Router, and now my connection is good.

Excellent product
This was an upgrade to a 10 year old router. This allowed me to get the actual download speed I was paying for. Easy to install and works great
