Get the warranty extension
I agree with the other 5 star review. For me this thing can still somewhat test setted diamond into rings as long as its in the right angle. However I havent tested a lab grown vs a natural yet. Not full proof, One dealer lab diamond past natural but his moisonite tester pass for moisonite couple of times. Turns out it was lab from gia. may purchase another lab tester for $400 to be extra sure. But this is great so that you wont get burnt that easily from unscrupulous people. Update stop working after 9 months. Workin with factory warranty. Get the 3 year extension only $20 bucks

Inaccurate
Lost $2,500. Tested a pair of studs as natural that were labs. Quit working completely after warranty had expired.

Why other reviewer left one star no explanation
Seems to work fine. The only thing is when testing. The diamond has to be out of the ring otherwise if you put the diamond in the device face down still in the setting it may test as natural even though it in a lab grown. What is it about the device the other reviewer didnt like? Im curious. the other reviewer left 1 star. But why? Respond. Thanks

Tested on several Lab stones and worked perfectly. After purchasing a lab stone by mistake we purchased this machine in hopes of avoiding the 6K machine, this did the job. We tested on several lab created stone verified by GIA and it caught them all.

This is a dishonest seller I bought an item from them ,was defective returned got a portion of my money back. Not satisfied, never recommend .

Nice Tester
I would give this 5 stars if it could distinguish between diamond and Moissanite. Very easy to use and an absolute necessity for the diamond hunter.
