Works for me everytime!
Ive been using this for a number of my tattoos and it works! It may be a little expensive but worth it! I just used it to get both of my arm pits inked along with other things just this past week! Put some one and wrap it with ceran wrap for about an hour to hour and a half before you start your ink session! I highly recommend this!

Pretty effective for my tattoo!
Used it on my most recent tattoo and it worked great! I spread it on thick and covered my arm in cling wrap for an hour before my appointment. It didn't numb me completely, but it took away at least 70% of the pain, and it seemed to last for about 3 hours. Definitely worth it for a 4 hour tattoo!

Works good
Works perfect for painful areas, numbs the area just enough. Good for tattoos

Not too bad
I bought this to use for a tattoo in a particularly painful spot, but ended up not needing it for that. Instead, I used it for a splinter I'd gotten on the bottom of my foot that was too painful to go near. 4 stars, but only because I didn't use it as the instructions said, so I can verify full validly of the product. When I used it on the bottom of my foot, I applied a generous amount of the cream and let it sit for 10 minutes. The splinter hurt so bad to touch or go near that I was in tears (I have a sleeve of tattoos and have never cried from that pain! This was excruciating). I knew it had to come out, and remembered I had this, so I put it on and waited. It didn't completely numb the area, but it did numb it enough that getting out the splinter was tolerable. I got it out quickly and didn't notice any tingling or other odd sensations on my foot after. Next time I get a tattoo in a bad spot, I'm going to try this as intended and I'll update this review as it changes. I've only ever had one tattoo that was particularly bad, but man, I don't want to go through that again if I don't have to - this would be great if it works as it says!

Great Product
This product worked great! The trick is to wrap the prep area in plastic wrap appropriately 1 hour prior to your appointment. You will stay numb the entire time...at least I did. Great product!!

BUYER BEWARE!!!! Product DID NOT work well.
So I purchased this product because of the large amount of reviews that gave it 5 stars. I am perplexed as to how this product was rated more than 1 star by anyone. It DOES NOT WORK WELL. I purchased the product to assist in making getting my first tattoo close to pain free. For my first tat, it’s a large one. Despite putting the product on and using the saran wrap and waiting 50 minutes, then also reapplying it a second time for 40 minutes to ensure that it would take. When the artist began the tattoo, I felt the pressure of the needle and the vibrations but not much pain. But I thought that must be normal so I didn’t think anything of it. However, after about 20 minutes, the product wore off and I began to feel the needle and the puncturing of my skin. The pain level was about a 6 out of 10 for most of the tattoo. It was about 7 for the part of the tattoo that extends to the middle of my back. So, the pain was mostly moderate. However, this product is supposed to numb you for 4 hours according to the box. Complete lie. It somewhat numbs (not fully) you for about 20-25 minutes and then you are going to feel the needle. Overall, the product’s performance was substandard. A better numbing cream is tattoo Numbing cream co and it’s cheaper in price. Dr. Numb failed to provide the protection against pain that it was supposed to.

Worked for about 20 minutes
I was getting a horrible tattoo on my foot covered up and wanted to make sure it wasn't going to be as painful the 2nd time around. So, I applied a thick layer of this over the top of my entire foot and wrapped it, left in on for an hour. Now, to be fair, I realize I got a tattoo on my foot, one of the most painful spots to get inked, but this stuff didn't work at all like I had hoped it would. For the first 20 minutes I thought it was going well, more of a pinching vibration, but then it started wearing off and the last 2 hours and 10 minutes we're to typical pain you expect to feel on your foot. Happy with the tattoo, just wish I hadn't wasted the money on the cream. 🤷🏼♀️

Dr. Numb for tattoo
I have many tattoos. But this leg piece is a big one and definitely hit many sensitive areas, this video is the second session. The first session was stencil and outlining of the whole piece and the pain was unbearable! For 3 HOURS!!! Idk how I survived it. The video is the 2nd session, thickening of the lines. I applied Dr. Numb approximately 45 minutes prior to the session and my tattoo artist applied some more to my lower leg 1.5 hours into the session. I love Dr. Numb! While it didn't take the pain away it made it manageable and tolerable for me to sit thru 3 hours. I've never used numbing cream this my first time and definitely won't be the last. I still have 6 hours of work left on my leg. I realize everyone is different when it come to pain and Dr numb may not be for everyone. I definitely love this product for tattoo.

Best one yet
Although on the expensive side it works better than other brands I’ve tried. I’d rather pay more than feel pain tbh😂
