Aggressive chewer
I have bought three of these balls. My very very aggressive chewer, 1-year-old miniature Australian Shepherd, has not been able to tear one of these up. This is the only toy that he has never been able to destroy.

Good bounce
Update: we're a month into this ball now and it is still in perfect condition and still the favorite inside the house ball. He couldn't find this ball today and insisted to me that the ball was inside the dryer. I picked up my boy and showed him the top of the dryer, his eyes went to all surfaces several times. He was not satisfied when I said, see it's not there. I had to empty the dryer to prove the ball was not inside the dryer. After crawling around with a flashlight to every corner of the laundry room, I gave up saying I didn't know where he put his ball. I went back to my chores while he sat in the laundry room doorway whining. After an hour, he gave up and fetched another ball, but he was elated when later I opened my closet door and there was the ball. Golly, my determined little dachshund adores this ball, and I'm here ordering another so I don't have to go through this "mom, I can't find my ball" disaster again.Original review: Good size ball for little dogs. My mini dachshund loves balls, day and night he wants a ball, and would play fetch 24 hours a day if I would cooperate. We use this as an inside ball, and it has a great bounce on the hard floor...he loves catching in mid air. This ball is 2.5" in diameter and is made in Vietnam of a sturdy, thick, but flexible rubber type material. While the size is good for little dogs, I do not recommend for a larger or even medium size dog. Neither does it seem durable enough for good sized chompers. My dachshund treasures his balls but this one he is gnawing on, something he hasn't done with any other balls, even soft, stuffed ones. The holes/empty space must encourage this. Therefore, this ball may not last long, but he has definitely added this ball to his treasures the past few days.

Great ball, size of tennis ball. Dog does not harm it when chewing in mouth
Basically the size of the tennis ball. Took picture next to the tennis ball, for size. My pup likes to chew and never harms this ball! They both love it! Bounces and flexes on impact. Want hurt any surface, due to that.

Favorite ball for fetch
I have a medium sized dog who likes me to throw the ball in the air so she can catch it in midair. I also have a small dog who loves to chase the ball around the ground before returning it to me. This ball is their favorite. It has a nice bounce to it. OK It is easy on the larger dog’s mouth when she catches the ball in the air and it squeezable enough for the smaller dog to be able to pick it up easily. It’s very easy to clean.

Much better than tennis balls
Regular tennis balls, including the ones sold by Chuckit are just not that great as dog toys. Even though I don't allow my dogs to chew on them when we are not playing fetch, they still don't last long as when they are eventually punctured they wear out quickly and are useless. The Breathe Right balls seem much more resilient and so long as you don't allow your dogs to chew on them when not playing fetch, they should last a long time. I normally buy the Chuckit Ultra balls, which I think are fantastic, but I decided to give these a try. I don't really know if they improve breathing. Certainly not with my dogs. Chuckit balls come in various sizes and as long as the ball is not too small, the dog should have no problem breathing around it. Perhaps this is an issue with really big dogs where the large size is still too small. These are lighter than the Ultra balls so that might be good for smaller dogs. The only reason I can't give these 5 stars is because they just don't work as well with the Chuckit launcher. It's harder to pick them up and throw because the ball just doesn't lock as it does with the Ultra balls. I don't think these balls are bad, it's just that I find the Ultra balls are so much better, and for about the same price I'm definitely going to go back to the Ultra balls when these inevitably get lost.

Not as Good as the Chuckit! Whistler Ball
I like the concept - the weave pattern with open areas for air flow help the dog to breathe easier during retrieving exercises. And that could help keep the dog a little cooler in hot weather. In theory, a ball stuck in a dog's throat could allow the dog to breathe until the ball can be removed. But this is not meant to be a chew toy, and like most balls, it will not hold up if used as one. It is flexible, so a dog that chomps at the ball a few times on the way back from retrieving it will probably not hurt it....at least my soft-mouthed Lab has not hurt hers. The real problem with this ball is that it is so light that it is difficult to get any distance on the throw. About the best I can do is maybe 2/3 of the distance I get on the whistler balls - and it takes a lot of effort to get it to go that far. Forget throwing it into the wind! Although the ball does bounce, the bounce is not near as "good "as the whistler balls, either; so I prefer the whistler balls. On warmer days I will continue to use these under our shade trees, throwing the balls manually instead of using the launcher. Distance is not important on those days, and my girl can still get a good workout doing shorter sprints. I generally like Chuckit! products, but this one fell a little short (pun intended).

Great ball, my dog loves this.

Dogs Love It
My dogs, all sizes, have used this product for years. The lattice-like structure makes it easy to carry as they have lots of gripping surfaces. However this is not for heavy chewers, it’s a ball, not a chew toy.

Great balls
Bought these as "indoor" balls. They seem just as durable (if not more) as "normal" chuck-it balls. They are very light and silent, which makes them better for indoors. Outdoors they are harder to throw far, but they go far enough with a thrower. Still, I stick to normal balls for outdoors (or the whistlers).Highly recommend.

Slecht materiaal
