Great device with clear easy to read display, fabulous feature that shows min and max readouts. Works really well.

I recently purchased a Russel Hobbs thermoelectric cooler/fridge. And while the appliance works well, if the humidity rises above 60%, ice starts to form in the fins of the chiller unit, just behind the fan. The efficiency drops, the cooler begins to slowly warm up, and if left, the ice will eventually hit the back of the fan blades, causing a loud ticking sound. The ThermoPro TP110 Fridge Thermometer, has helped me see exactly when the cooler begins to warm up, as it shows a minimum temperature history. The backlight is also excellent, as the touch-sensitive 'button' is on the front of the thermometer, and just needs the lightest touch to activate the light. The LCD display has a decent viewing angle. So even though the thermometer is well below eye-level, I do not need to angle the thermometer towards me. The display can be read just by activating the backlight. The thermometer can be hung from the fridge wire shelf, the hook can be rotated to act as a kickstand, or there is a strong magnet on the rear of the thermometer. In fact it is the magnet that gave me the only issue with the thermometer, as it kept grabbing the button-cell battery (supplied), while I was trying to insert it in to the thermometer. So, a great little thermometer, with the usual good build quality expected from ThermoPro.

Good so far - looks good, works well, useful back-light with a front-faced touch "button" switch, but am I crazy? - the hook is on the REVERSE of how it should be facing if you want to place it anywhere that makes sense, like on a tray/drawer edge.

Is it just me? It's saying my fridge is 11°c when its actually icy in there. One reason I bought it was to see what my fridge is doing as it keeps icing up. In a room it initially read 30°c when other devices say 23.5°c. Half an hour later it reads 2° less than other devices in the same room. Maybe it just reacts very slowly? Like another reviewer I do think the hook faces the wrong way, so that the device faces the back of the fridge.

Easy to read. Backlight and ability to stand on a shelf are a real boon as my fridge has solid glass shelves. Small (doesn't take up space) but stable so can see temperature every time I open the fridge. Accurate and good solid quality. Would definitely recommend.

This is great for an internal thermometer for a regular fridge but if you're like me and want to use it in a mini fridge with a glass door it becomes a less appealing option. The screen is hard to read without turning the units light on. Once the light is on it's legible enough. In my opinion this thermometer could have been massively improved by having an e-ink display. I put this thermometer and a repurposed Tapo e-ink thermometer next to each other inside my glass-fronted mini fridge. The display was very hard to read on the ThermoPro. In contrast, the display on the Tapo e-ink display was perfectly readable from right across the room. I'm not saying this is a bad product. It's a nice bit of kit if you don't mind opening your fridge and pressing the light button on the thermometer but I was looking for something that would show me the fridge temperature through it's glass door. In that regard the Tapo thermometer wins hands down. Temperature accuracy seems pretty good. I've only just bought this thermometer so I can't speak of it's battery life but I think it'll last a long time before the battery needs changing. All in all it's good value for money in the right use case scenario. I bought it for £8.49 after a promotion was applied which I think is a fair price for what you get.

These ThermoPro refrigerator thermometers have been a great addition to my RV. I’m using one in the refrigerator and one in the freezer, and they’ve been very reliable and easy to read. The large backlit LCD display is a big plus, especially in an RV where lighting isn’t always great. A quick glance is all it takes to see the temperature. They were simple to set up and started giving accurate readings right away. I also like that they’re waterproof, which gives some peace of mind in a refrigerator or freezer environment. Since installing them, it’s been much easier to keep an eye on temperatures and make sure food stays safe while traveling. Solid quality, practical design, and they do exactly what they’re supposed to do. I’m very happy with this purchase and would recommend them to other RV owners.
