I had a Roman-style pizza with guava paste and cheese recently and wanted to try making it at home. I used this, and it came out exactly how I was hoping. This one is really easy to work with. It comes as a solid block, so it’s easy to cut into pieces without making a mess. I had bought a different brand before that came in a round can, and I actually ended up cutting my hand trying to open it. This feels a lot safer to use. It tastes great and has that perfect sweetness to pair with cheese. It’s also pretty inexpensive, so it feels like a really good value for what you get.

I absolutely love this guava paste! The flavor reminds me so much of a traditional sweet from my home country, and it brings back such a wonderful feeling of nostalgia. It’s sweet, delicious, and perfect when I’m craving the flavors of home. I’ll definitely buy it again!

First time trying guava paste. I used it in a cheesecake recipe and it turned out gummy and cloying. I understand it's an ethnic food I have zero experience with. I won't buy it again, as it is wasted on me. It arrived in secure packaging, fresh, is self-stable, all good things. It is sweet. Maybe I just picked the wrong recipe.
