A nice and affordable thermometer, perfect for all households as it’s easy to use. Gonna are the days of fighting to get a temp via the armpit or holding it under the tongue. This is quick and simple. Point and shoot. I’ve tried it several times, and it seems pretty accurate. The red, yellow, green lighting on the temp is great, especially for new parents. The ready is easy to ride, as the numbers aren’t super small.

Works great!! My baby gets very fidgety when she has a fever, this is a quick easy and accurate way for us to get her temperature and take appropriate steps. We were also very surprised by the quality given that’s its fairly cheap compared to other thermometers we looked at.

The best part about this thermometer is the speed and ease of use. You just hold it an inch or two away from the forehead, pull the trigger, and boom—you have a reading. Because it doesn't actually touch the skin, you don't have to worry about constantly sanitizing it between family members, which is a massive relief when a bug is making the rounds through the house. I tested it with back-to-back readings, and it's surprisingly consistent, only fluctuating by about 0.1 degrees. The color-coded backlit screen (green, yellow, red) is also incredibly helpful for instantly knowing if a temperature is creeping into the danger zone without having to memorize fever thresholds. My only real complaint is the display brightness and the audio. Even though you can mute the "beep" sound (thank goodness), the LED screen itself is incredibly bright. If you are trying to sneak into a dark nursery at 2:00 AM to check on a sleeping baby, the bright green glow lights up the whole room like a flashlight. It’s often bright enough to startle a light sleeper awake, which completely defeats the purpose of having a stealthy "no-touch" design. I wish there was a way to dim the display backlight for nighttime checks. For everyday household use, this thermometer is excellent. It's fast, accurate enough for peace of mind, and saves you from waking up sick kids. If you can overlook a slightly blinding screen in the middle of the night, it’s a fantastic, affordable addition to any medicine cabinet.

This is a reliable thermometer. The display is large, bright, and easy to read. Normal temp = green display; Moderate temp = yellow display; High temp = red display. From experience, 99 was a yellow display and 100+ was a red display. I’ve had it for about 7mo and have not needed to replace the batteries; however this isn’t something that’s used often so I expect the batteries to last a while. And batteries were included! I did have to bump up the default temp by a few degrees. There are instructions included that explain how to do that, and it was an easy, quick adjustment. When we first used it, it was reading healthy temp at 95 so I bumped up the default a few degrees. The picture included is after I recalibrated it. I will say tho, that after that change, it is accurate. My grandson was sick recently and the temp reading on this thermometer was consistent with the urgent care reading.
