200-5.5 5½" Aluminum Alloy Foot Guards

Wearing these is certainly more comfortable than wearing safety toe boots in my experience. These foot guards are a bit heavier than I expected considering that they are largely aluminum and you will notice it when walking but it is very manageable. The edges on these guards are sharp so I would not suggest using these with boots that you want to stay good looking and the metal will leave grease and shavings on you/your boots until you give them a good cleaning. There is a metal bar underneath the arch of the foot to I guess help lock the guard onto whatever boots you use but in my case the bar got stuck against the tread of my duty boots so it isn't perfect. I would have preferred another rubber strap that would allow for a more personal fit and not risk tearing off some of the boots tread instead of the metal bar. Finally there is a rubber pad below the toe area that again helps lock the boot into the foot guard but I find it to be a bit annoying. It isn't flush with the boot and has just enough flex that you notice it as you walk which is not a deal breaker but just something that I noticed. I would again have preferred a rubber strap or just something else that could be replaced as over time that rubber area could wear out and is not replaceable. I'm returning these as they are not quite everything that I hoped they would be and I don't yet require these for work. If you are like me and you have tried an embarrassing amount of safety toe boots but don't find any of them to be comfortable then I can say these foot guards are well worth a shot as they don't compress your toes in the slightest and the metguard portion of these foot guards is angled high enough that my foot can flex pretty far before my shin makes contact with it.

If you're like me and have feet that simply can't wear safety shoes/boots, these things are PERFECT!I can now put them over my everyday hiking boots.Wouldn't recommend wearing these over sneakers or regular shoes but you could. Wish I found these before I spent $340 on 2 pairs of steel toe boots🤪, that I can't use...My prayers hath been answered 🤓👍
