Worth the cost
This is expensive, but worth it. I tried cheaper alternatives but they were irritants to my throat and nose when I used them in my diffuser. This has an amazing smell and is high quality and non-irritating.

Not smoky but powdery fresh
A true santal scent which is a powdery floral. There are no smoky notes at all. A little goes a long way. I used five drops in a diffuser for a living room and I bought the smallest bottle which will last me a while. This is my first time smelling and bought based on the reviews. I am NOT a gourmand person and this is a fresh contemporary scent for home. It’s giving Anthropology or West Elm. Glad I trusted the reviews and bought this. My new fav

Aromatech Santal actually smells like Santal 33
My bottle of santal arrived today and I’ve started diffusing it. My initial reaction is pleasant surprise. It actually smells like the le labo scent, which I love. Honestly I can’t tell the difference. I’m excited because I feel like I’ve finally found a scent that I can use year round for the main level and I’m not restricted to tiny capsules or unreliable systems. I’ve used several before like Pura and aera, but never got a satisfactory result. I looked into purchasing an aromatech diffuser and realized from reviews that they’re probably not worth the money. I bought a cheap 60 dollar programmable one and it’s amazing. I have it running all day on the weekends and morning/evening on the weekdays. Go ahead and buy the big bottle of Santal. You’re gonna love it.

Animal friendly
It smells amazing but in my air purifier you can’t smell it so much. My favorite part of this oil is it’s animal friendly. You need to be careful with your oils around animals.

Olfactory Alchemy
Here is my review for both Santal and London. SANTAL: This scent is unbelievably nuanced. I put one single drop on the cardboard Amazon box that it came in. At first, it was very peppery and almost chemical in odor, like overripe fruit. This was disappointing. I placed the box in the garage so that it would not stink up my house. I figured I would just return the vial. However, the next morning, I went to grab something from the garage and overnight, that single drop perfumed my usually dank garage with something unearthly. This scent is somehow both clean and sensual. It also achieves something that is very traditional yet extremely modern. Based on my subjective sense experience, the spicey notes are very heady (without being overpowering) and the mid tones are somewhat fruity-musky. Today is day three, and it now sells CREAMY, like very expensive santal. I would like to add that, while this scent is almost unisex, it is decidedly feminine. LONDON: I ordered this one expecting something a little bit more accessible (immediately likable). Based on descriptions, I thought it would be more smokey and sweet. Replicating my experiment with Santal, I just put one drop on cardboard and left it in my garage. Initially, there was an overpowering medicinal spicy/herbal scent that was altogether off-putting. Not gonna lie: it made me think of Bengay. So, whereas I was hoping it would smell like a cool hip English lounge filled with yuppy dudes who just came in from having a nice cigar (I know, oddly specific, but that’s how it’s marketed), the reality was that it made me think of a retirement home. Oh well. Off to the garage it went to do its thing. A few hours later, it smelled like a barber shop: somewhere between Bay Rum and Old Spice original - a marked improvement. Then another few hours later, I could start smelling the smokey/leathery/sweet notes. It is still day one of this scent, and I’m excited to see where this goes! I am definitely impressed that both of these have changed so much over time. It’s very potent stuff, and I almost don’t want to put it in a diffuser just because of how nice it is on a frickin’ piece of cardboard. That is straight up alchemy.

Smells expensive!
I took a bit of a gamble with this oil as I wanted to use it in my oil burner (i.e tea light candle on bottom and place for a little bit of water above the candle where you add drops of oil). I had posted a question asking other buyers if this could be done and had gotten answers primarily about using a diffuser which is not the same thing. I got one response back saying yes and can also be used as a room spray. So I took a chance. Boy oh boy, I'm so glad I did. I can further confirm this oil can most certainly be used in an oil burn. Apart from this discovery, this oil has such a wonderful unisex smell. It's like walking into a high-end hotel. Wow wow wow! Just buy it.

Wow!
This essential oil is amazing! My house smells like a spa when I use it and just like santal 33 from Le Labo! A little goes a long way so I feel the price point is fair for the concentration and quality of the oil. I will definitely repurchase when I run out!

The best scent of all time
I rarely do reviews but this is a must! Warning if you start buying this you will be addicted and unable to buy anything else! This is an expensive addiction haha! I have a wellness center and Ive been trying to find my staple smell for the place! Well this is IT! Ive never had so many compliments on a smell. Everyone who walks in is immediately in love with the scent of our place! I dont know what I will do if this doesn’t exist one day! I cant explain the smell its pure magic! Now I use a regular water diffuser and works great! Smells all day
