良い点 ・いい音。中低音域が厚いと思います あまり良くない点 ・ステレオミニプラグの入力が前面にしかない ・ボリュームノブがクリック感のあるタイプなのだが、敏感すぎる。1クリック分動かしただけで音量が大きく変わるので、微妙な音量調節ができない 後者が結構不満ではありますが、音がいいので全体的には満足です。

これはお買い得。ちょっと机に置くにはでかいけど。 僕はPCにミキサーつないでいるので、TRS接続はありがたいです。ま、そこまでケーブルの違いにセンシティブではないですがｗ 電源のオフオンと音色モードのボタン切り替えがひとつのボタンに集約されているのはちょっといけてなくて、特にオフにするときの長押しがめんどい。音色が変わってしまうことしばし。 音質はそこらの小型スピーカーより断然いいし、出力が大きいこともいいです。 何より値段がねえ。 ワンランク下の数千円の中途半端なものを買うくらいなら、こっちを買っとけば間違いなし、という感じです。

PCスピーカー用に購入しました。良い音だと思います。サイズの割に低音が伸びているのが特に印象的です。 配置優先なので音のバランスが崩れがちですが、低音/高音のレベル調整範囲が広いので許容範囲に収めるのも容易でした。 意図的か偶然か不明ですが、それぞれちょうどポートとツイーターのレベル調整の様になっているのが興味深いです。 以上はデスクトップの至近距離(0.5～1m)で使った場合です。試しに音量を上げたら不快な歪みが急増してしまいました。 部屋を音で満たすような使い方には向いていないと思います。 他にも良かった点・困った点がありますが、これは私にとって好都合かどうかです。 使い方が違えば評価が異なる場合もあるでしょう。 良かった点: 入力がミックスされる ３つ入力端子があり、全てミックスされるようです(RCAとAUXは確認済/TRS未確認)。 実はディスプレイとスピーカーを、TVチューナーとシェアしています。画像をPIPにした場合など、音がミックスされる方が好都合です。 困った点: 他の機器と電源連動できない 例えばスイッチ付きテーブルタップで連動させようとした場合、スイッチをoff/onした時にこの製品の電源が入りません。 電源を入れる都度、毎回この製品のマルチファンクションダイヤルを押す必要があります。 音響効果切り替え(モニター/音楽)は電源off中も記憶されるので、意図的にこうなっている様です。 簡単に手の届く距離で使っているのでさほどの手間ではありませんが、やはり煩雑であることに変わりありません。

特色が無いと言えばそれまでですがこのサイズで豊かな低音が出てびっくりです。勿論大口径のスピーカーにはおぼつかない程度ではありますが、このサイズと値段ですから十分に満足です。PCのモニター用としては最も最適な選択であると言えましょう。

音質もそれほどに良く、コスパは良いなと思いましたが、モニタースピーカーとしての性能、能力はやはり他社製の少し効果なものと比べるとやや劣る傾向でした。

低音たりないが、出力考えたら十分である、ブックシェルフ型なので場所を取るのが難点

AIYIMA DAC-A7と一緒に購入して使用しています。 YouTube等の商品レビューで後継品のMR3より音がいい、その代わりBluetooth非対応ということを知りましたので、上記のDACでBluetooth接続し、DACと当製品を繋げています。 近年使用していた製品が2000円程度のAUX接続のスピーカーや、50000円程度のサウンドバーだったりと比較が困難ですが、6畳程度の洋室で使っていますが十分満足しています。

思っていたよりやや大きい印象。音質は素人なので分かりませんが、バランスの良い音で聴き疲れない印象。ボリューム調整が難しい。1段階ごとに割と音が大きくなります。

The speakers are well built and sounding surprisingly good for their compact size and comparatively low price tag. Got that non-hyped "professional" sound to them, and you can actually hear tight, clear bass events distinctly. Their own frequency response graphs show that it shouldn't be possible for them to reproduce bass that low that nicely, but they somehow do it anyway? Way to go, little MR4s. I'm driving them using a DAC/Amp, no problems getting decent volume even on low gain, so if you don't have any kind of amp yet, you can totally get away just plugging them straight into the computer and get decent volumes. Though with an inexpensive quality DAC/amp like the Fosi ZH3, both headphones and speakers sound even better, the sound gets punchier and more full even at low volume because of better quality converters and amplification compared to random cheapies built into the motherboard that do the same thing but not as well. They have a useful quick press mode that turn them more hi-fi sounding (boosted highs and lows) which is great for experiencing exciting game audio, movies. The other quick mode tries to be more flat in response, which is useful for all kinds of audio work. They're obviously super-budget nearfields so you can't expect perfection, and the way your room is set up and acoustically treated will have more to do with the sound than the speakers you choose anyway. Talking about setup, I appreciated that they have basic Low/High EQ knobs on the back, that you can finetune depending on where you place the speakers to get a more appropriate sound in your particular room. Take my room, no acoustic treatment and awful speaker placement right next to a window at their back, but hey, beggars can't be choosers and I am getting surprising mileage out of these speakers. It's all about knowing that all speakers and all headphones are lying to you to some degree, so you switch back and forth between the options you got, to get an overall feel for your audio work to translate to more speakers. I think this works better for me to get mix translation, than investing in a single expensive speaker set - which would be pointless, given the bad room I work in. I also have high end headphones to compare the sound against, and it's surprising that the compact Edifier MR4s overall sound pretty damn close, perhaps with a certain slightly annoying "hollowed less present midrage" feel, but I am not even sure it's the speakers, that could well be the way my room is awful acoustically. They're anyway a massive upgrade compared to crappy monitor speakers or tiny satellite ones for computers, and very worthwhile if you would like to have something like this to just put your music "in the air" once in a while, to break out of headphone mixing prejudices.

Works great with my Sony turntable. Can also be used while my Bluetooth is on and headphones connected to the speaker. Would recommend for turn table.

Bought these for connecting to my guitar recording interface (Focusrite scarlett solo) directly as i was getting tired of output delay from 3.5mm jack speakers - and they're pretty good. i use them in music mode only and not monitor and there are no complaints. i like the sound quality, bass isn't plenty but it's enough considering i have no subwoofer. faced no latency issues in connecting wired headphones into these speakers as well.

So, there are two types of people who look at this product. The first is as an audiophile who is comparing this to speakers 2 or 3 times as expensive. The second is as a non-audiophile reaching up to this price point from the $40 Logitech speakers you've had since 2017 that get the job done, but you're ready for something better. I have experience with the first type of person for headphones, but for desktop speakers, it's time to retire my old Logitechs. Pros: 1. The sound quality, compared to my $40 Logitech speakers, is incredible. It's the same feeling I got when I got my first nice pair of over ear headphones after years of using those old Apple earbuds (not airpods, the wired earbuds they gave out with iPods lol). The sound is much clearer, the bass is punchier, and it's just overall better than the Logitech speakers. 2. The power button doubles as a studio/music profile switched. Red light means studio, green light means music. The green light one sounds better to me, provided you use the bass knob in the back to turn the bass down 3 or 4dB. Otherwise the bass gets a little boomy. But, I like the dual profiles, even if these are, in no way, good for actual studio use (although, to be fair to Edifier, they are vastly better than $50 desktop speakers for studio use lol, it's all about perspective when it comes to audio). 3. These are built for desktop use. Headphone jack in the front, RCA to 3.5mm cable in the box to plug into your PC tower, and they are active speakers, so you don't need any additional equipment to run them like you do with fully passive speakers. 4. Headphone jack is adequate. Won't beat a dedicated amp/dac, but they are on par with the jacks in your PC tower, which is fine, especially if your tower is really far away like mine and your headphones can be powered by a normal headphone jack. 5. Bass and treble knobs in the back are nice for fine tuning. Again, I turned the bass down a few dB to avoid boominess, and the treble stayed at default. 6. Speaker wire is long enough to get around a 34-inch ultrawide with about two feet of cable to spare, maybe more. These will fit around even larger monitors. Neutral 1. I downloaded Equalizer APO to fine tune these just a little bit more. They sound very good out of the box, but I felt they needed a bit more tweaking. I recommend Equalizer APO to really dial in the sound you want. 2. Some folks may want to pair these with a subwoofer. I didn't find it necessary for casual desktop PC use (I also didn't want to deal with connecting a subwoofer to it, or spend anymore money lol), but if you do, it's not the worst idea in the world. The bass is gold enough for uber casual listening but it is another half step up to get a dedicated subwoofer to do it instead. Cons 1. While these are vastly better, clearer, and more sonically competent than any sub $100 speakers I'm aware of, they do have their limitations. Instrument separation gets a little stuffy with big, complex music with lots of instruments. The bass is boomy out of the box (easy fix), and it'll distort when it gets loud enough on some songs. However, I had this up at 60% volume on both the speaker and Windows, and I'm never going any higher than that anyway lol. 2. The volume knob is a step/click style and not a smooth style, and the jumps in volume are surprisingly large. You'll likely need to use both your source volume and this thing's volume knob to get the right volume for you. 3. A front cover would've been nice, like you find on other Edifier speakers like the 1280DB. Not that I mind the bare speaker look, but still, would've been a nice option. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase. I've had nice headphones for ages (Sennheiser HD650 currently, and probably forever. If it ain't broke, don't fix it), but I still remember the Sennheiser HD558 as my entry level audiophile headphone that got me away from cheap headphones, and how I had that "I hear things in songs I know that I've never heard before" moment with them. The Edifier MR4 is that same feeling stepping away from less expensive PC speakers. Yes, this is the ground floor of audiophilia, so it's not going to impress someone who already owns or has experienced higher end speakers. However, this is still a HUGE step up from the essentially any sub-$100 PC speaker, and that's all I was looking for. It's nice to be able to get some reasonably good audio without needing to wear headphones.
