The mic connects to the X5 seamlessly and has multiple mounting options. It also includes a wind buffer ring and compact carrying case. You have options to select either sound track from the onboard mic or this BT mic which improves functionality. I have only used a few times so I am not sure of the overall battery life, but it made it through one X5 extended battery and charged quickly out of the box. I am concerned about losing it, especially when recording on a motorcycle or OneWheel, so I would prefer if there was a snap-mount or mounting loop for a safety lanyard.
