Compact and Great Quality.
Super compact and great sound quality. The mic connects to the X5 seamlessly and has multiple mounting options. It also includes a wind buffer ring and compact carrying case. You have options to select either sound track from the onboard mic or this BT mic which improves functionality. I have only used a few times so I am not sure of the overall battery life, but it made it through one X5 extended battery and charged quickly out of the box. I am concerned about losing it, especially when recording on a motorcycle or OneWheel, so I would prefer if there was a snap-mount or mounting loop for a safety lanyard. The magnet mount seems strong but it would still be easy to knock off and lose - its only about the diameter of a US Quarter.

Stay away from insta360 mic air
Stay away from these mic, it looks great but is not reliable, sometimes it just works like it's supposed to, but very often it just doesn't connect to the camera, think you are on vacations on the beach and want to start a video describing where you are, turn on the camera, turn on the previously connected mic air and it simple doesn't work, it changes a magical moment of your trip on to one that sucks

Convenient but has room for improvements
Alright, I always use an extrenal microphone for my Insta360 because the audio quality is always better so this was appealing to me because my DJI microphone requires me to use the 3.5mm adapter and have the dongle attached to my camera using a case I bought for it.This microphone does make things much easier in terms of getting going quick for the most part. I had expected that once its paired that if I turn on the camera and then turn this on that it would automically connect but I could not get that to work even if I turned on the microphone first then the Insta360. Its a quick screen action to connect the microphone again but it would be nice if turning both on just automatically connected. Perhaps in a future firmware update it will do that. This currently does not work on my X4, I suspect perhaps Insta360 might push a firmware upgrade to the X4 for this to work but right now it only works with my X5 and it may always be that way so keep that in mind if you have something that isn't the X5.In terms of actual audio quality, its much better than the built in microphones both up close and standing a bit a way but if I am being honest its not as good as my DJI wireless microphone plugged into via the 3.5mm adapter.Naturally the range of this is not as good as my DJI wireless microphones, I am curious if you can pair two of these at once so you can have two people but as I only have this one I can't test to see if you can pair more than one at the same time.Overall you are saving a good bit of money going this route vs. something like a DJI microphone using the 3.5mm jack adapter and this would keep things water tight as well which is a handy feature if you are using this in an area that might get wet.For my use case, where I am recording my wife and I riding our bikes on rails to trails we will continue to use the DJI setup because the audio quality is better and because we never have any connection issues and its just plug and play with the 3.5mm adapter and cable.

Reliable, Compact, and Surprisingly Versatile Mic for the Ace Pro 2
I’ve been using this transmitter with my Insta360 Ace Pro 2 and it’s been a smooth experience from the start. Setup was seamless. It connected to the camera instantly and has stayed connected without any of the dropout issues I’ve seen mentioned in other reviews. Your mileage may vary, but for me, it's been rock solid. The sound quality is right in line with other Bluetooth mics I’ve used in this price range. It handles voice well and the built-in noise reduction gives recordings a clean and polished feel, even in mildly noisy environments. It won’t replace a high-end shotgun mic in a soundproof studio, but for on-the-go streaming or vlogging, it's more than capable. One of the best features is that you don’t need a separate receiver. The transmitter pairs directly with the camera, which helps keep the gear load light and the setup clean. That’s a big plus if you’re trying to stay mobile or keep your rig minimal.I really appreciate the four different wearing options. The magnetic system is clever and strong, and the classic clip still works great. It’s nice to have choices depending on your outfit or activity. Also, the included windscreen (a mini dead cat) is part of a flexible rubber ring that adds some extra protection to the mic itself, which is a thoughtful touch.Battery life has been great so far. I haven't run it down during a shoot yet, and the stated 10 hours seems accurate. The only real gripe I have is the proprietary charging cable. I get why they might have gone that route, but it feels like a missed opportunity to use a more standard magnetic charging connector. It’s not enough to knock off a star, but I’d love to see that improved in the next version.Bonus points for showing audio levels on the camera screen when the mic is connected. That’s more a camera feature than a mic feature, but it makes a big difference when monitoring sound on the go.If you’re using an Ace Pro 2 or X5, this mic is a no-brainer. Compact, functional, and thoughtfully designed. Just don’t lose that charging cable!

Tx only gets only 10-15', you need the rx and tx for 300 meters
Really sucks on there description it says 300 meters they dont tell you you get 300 meters with the tx and rx together but if you buy just the tx I gt 10-15 ft thats it, Really sucks cause I videoed so much to go back and see my footage was all cut out, The sound though was amazing but the range sucks
