Great Value for High-Speed Data Transfers.
The major bottleneck in small to mid-sized networks is data transfer speed. Content creators and others who routinely offload large files to on-premise storage need high bandwidth options and this Glotrends 10Gb SFP+ allows that speed at a good value. Installation is straightforward using any available PCIe x8 slot ideally at Gen 3 or above. The included Sff backplate means this can be used in a variety of chassis types. The required drivers come on an included CD. Note that these are not RJ45 connections so you’ll either use fiber or transceiver adapters for connecting. I had good results in real-life testing moving files from a NAS and felt no lag or thermal issues when transferring, though ideally you’ll want to ensure good airflow across the included large heat sink. If you’re looking for an affordable and durable solution to data bottlenecks, this is definitely worth a look.

Did not last long!
Purchased this card in January 2026 and it died a few months later in May 2026. It only has a 30 day manufacture warranty. I would not recommend. I just threw $70 down the drain.

It works!!
put this into an HP mini pc and it had a hard time getting it to fit but as you can see I needed to adjust a few things but now it works. Get's full PCIe 8x and I do get 10gigs of speed. Not bad at all for this but do note it isn't the RJ45 type so you will need an adapter either way for fiber cables or lan cables. It works well and so far so good so 5 stars for this card!
