Absolutely LOVE this hair clip. I have waist-hip length hair and ordered the biggest clip in navy. I ordered this one because normal large claw clips work fine, but scare me a bit if I try to wear them while driving (I heard a horror story about a woman being seriously injured by a traditional claw clip in a car accident). This clip lays flat and gives me more piece of mind when laying my head against the head rest, not to mention it’s a lot more comfortable and I don’t have to strain my neck forward to make room for it when sitting in my car or in an office chair, because it has a low profile. It surprisingly holds my hair really well, too and is made really well. I’ve had this clip now for a few months. This is my go-to hair clip I keep in my purse for day-to-day and I wear it almost everyday for work at a corporate office, or whenever I need to put my hair up, since it doesn’t ever pull my hair or get stuck in my hair like hair ties can. The piece of mind, comfort and lack of hair-pulling is totally worth the money. Also I think it looks really chic—I’ve gotten quite a few compliments on it. The only con is I wish this came in more colors! For the larger size, there weren’t a ton of color options. Tip: make sure the tail end of your hair is closer to the base of the clip rather than the end. Since my hair gets thinner and frizzier towards the ends of my hair, sometimes it can sneak out of the hair clip if it’s towards the edge of the clip where the hold is less tight, since some room is left from the claw not closing completely around my hair (which makes sense because I’m trying to tuck a lot of hair into one clip). Overall, I recommend buying this hair clip!

Beautiful clip, high quality, and made of thicker plastic. The color is a deep blue, almost black, and its a flat clip, so it fits under hats and doesn't poke into me and the head rest in the car. Also it does its job, and holds my hair in place.

This is my favorite, and most comfortable clip. However, two of the prongs broke off after about a week of use. It is also a lot smaller than I thought. I wasn’t able to put it all of my hair up in this clip, it’s more for a half up situation. It works great and is really cute and easy to use with good hold but on the smaller side. If you have thicker hair this would probably be too small

I've lost a lot of hair over the last year so the larger flat clips not longer stay. This size is perfect for getting my hair off my neck. No slipping either! The flat design also doesn't trigger a migraine.

UPDATE 11/18/25 Received a message from Kitsch today after my review below. They offered a full refund. So nice to see a company that actually reads customer reviews and cares about their brand. I have numerous Kitsch products. Love their bar shampoos and conditioners. *** Very disappointed in quality. I've worn this clip about 4 times. Today while clipping into my, one of the large teeth broke. I never expected this kind of fragile quality from a name brand, like Kitsch. This was an expensive hair clip @$7.99, IMO. The return window has closed.

I bought this clip 2 months ago during a Black Friday sale. I loved it at first, it was comfortable to wear while driving and lounging. About 2 weeks after consistent wear, one of the teeth snapped off and then 2 weeks later another tooth, etc. I have fine, thin hair and the small size held all of my hair well. I’m going to repurchase another since I DID like how well it held my hair but do wish it was made of stronger plastic.

The small flat claw clips from Kitsch are a standout. They hold hair securely without slipping and work equally well for fine or coarse hair, which is surprisingly hard to find in a smaller clip. This clip seems to be nice, but I got the largest size and it does not hold long, thick hair up well at all. I have tried multiple different styles. (I have waist length thick, curly hair.) This seems like it would work great for thinner, shorter hair.

I have fine hair and rarely can I find a clip to stay in my hair, but this clip stayed in all day and I didn’t have to adjust it once.

I’ve worn this cloud clip for only a few times and I have shoulder length hair and it’s broken already Do not waste your money
