Maxshine 15mm Brushless Dual Action Polisher | 1200W AC Motor | Low Noise | Smooth Start | Variable Speed | Ergonomic Grip | Professional Car & Bike Detailing Tool

The jury is still out as to the quality of this $350 DA polisher. It does seem to do the job of polishing fairly well, but I wouldn’t say great. The machine is pretty large although well-balanced. Starting it up and using the locking button take a few tries to get used to. The speed doesn’t seem to be infinitely variable, but rather only jumps with each full increment from 1 to 6. The attached speed curve on the machine indicates a smooth increase, including ‘between’ the set speeds. When running at speed 3 the high pitched whine of the mechanism demands ear protection. Actually I was disappointed in the noise since it was advertised as a quiet, smooth operating polisher. It is not quiet and my Griot’s polishers are smoother. I did submit a question to Maxshine customer service regarding the noise level, but to date they have not responded. There are a lot of polishers on the market at, or below, this price that may offer better performance. I wish it were smooth and quiet as advertised.

This brushless DA does amazing. Great power, low vibration, and not very loud. Awesome 15mm throw DA. Highly recommend. Weight is nearly the same as my 9mm throw DA, so its not very heavy to me in my opinion, just longer body, which I actually like it looks great, and easy machine to use.
