I looked everywhere for pillow protectors that actually fit and felt smooth and were durable; these are the ones! I am going to buy more for the rest of the house

For the second year in a row I got bed bugs, so I decided to invest in a mattress cover and pillowcase specifically to keep the bugs out. I was getting as many as 5 bites per night, but 2 months later I'm happy to say that I've had zero.The only thing I don't like about this pillow is the rough, towel-like texture, which I tried to show in the pictures. This was easily fixed though by putting my regular pillowcase over it. Another reason I put a regular pillowcase over the bed bug pillowcase is because when I wash my linens, I can throw in the regular one instead. I can see the bed bug pillowcase getting worn down, tearing, or the zipper coming off after multiple washes, which would ruin the effectiveness, so I recommend putting something else over it to be safe.
