Seems to work good, not perfect but definitely slowed down the leak quite a bit. I was getting a lot of drips from the rear main before, but now it's almost stopped, but not completely. I get a few drops here and there is all. Nothing major. So I'd say this project does it's job pretty good.

This product is well known for softening and reconditioning rear main seals and to make them do what they’re supposed to do. This is a must have product on our farm.

I used a ton of this S* in my Mountaineer before I realized that my F* oil sensor plug was actually leaking. $20 and 15 minute fix. However, I use this stuff in all my older vehicles and any main seal leak stops after a week or so. Good S* ! A must for older motors. If your engine is old as F*, don’t expect this to fix all its issues. It will help, though. Good price.

It works, that's about all that needs to be said. You have a problem and if it fixes it then you are a happy person! If it doesn't fix it you had a much bigger problem that nothing but rebuilding could fix!! I used it in My 93 International Cabover Detroit 325 Diesel Tractor with leaky valve guide Seals, causing the oil to get sucked into the cylinders to be blown out of the Exhaust Stack as Smoke and Liquid making a mess and illegal as well. When asked how many bottles I should use for an Engine that holds 11 Gallons (44 Qts.) of OIL? The Bars people recommended I try 6 bottles as opposed to the 8 or 9 I was thinking of using (44Qts /5qts. = 8.8 oil changes on a regular car. Well I did and it did work for some time, and I was a happy guy that it got me down the road for a number of months till I could get it in the shop to fix it properly!! That was some years ago, and now I'm broken down and can't drive the big rigs anymore but I use it in the regular cars that I drive as a preventative measure to keep the seals in good shape. Also, use their Transmission sealer as well!
