Is this product tested for microplastics?

Yes the product is tested for Microplastics. 
Studies show microplastic tends to be higher in farmed fish rather than deep-sea fish. The majority of microplastics are found in fish digestive systems,  with translocation from the intestinal tract to the circulatory system (gills and liver) or surrounding tissue. So shell fish and small fish eaten whole are more likely to expose microplastics to the human diet. For the production of our Marine Collagen, we use fish skin, which is rich in collagen. We don't use the head, gills, bones or organs. Tests show the fish skin we use for our Collagen Peptides is free of microplastics. 
We also test for heavy metals and chemicals including dioxin & PCBs.

Why is this listed as containing Type 1 only, when your 1kg pot lists Type 2, 3 & 4?

HI Mavis, thanks for getting in touch. Our latest tests show that our collagen contains Type 1, 2, 3 & 4 collagen. The product packaging has been updated, we need to update our listing too.
Most collagen brands on the market, buy collagen from one UK wholesaler and simply repackage it.

Can you mix in any drink

Your can try it in any drink, some will mix better than others. Personally I've found it works best for me by mixing it with a small amount of cold milk and then I add my hot coffee to that and simply stir with a spoon & there is zero fishy or unpleasant taste. It gives a nice texture and when my first bag ran out I actually missed it in the coffee whilst waiting for my next order.   For anyone doing high fat/ protein diets you only need about 50-60ml of milk and can add fat such as butter or coconut oil  after combining the powder with the milk, it makes a great low carb high protein & fat combination, better than most protein powders and drinks.
