We bought this to make ice cream with our grandkids for New Year’s Eve. It was so much and, very easy to do and delicious! We can’t wait to make more. We loved the vintage look, too.

This ice cream maker works exactly as intended and produces good results. The motor is strong, and the unit does what it’s supposed to do. One thing I wish I had considered beforehand is the size. This is the 6-quart model, which is larger than the standard size most people use. In hindsight, I probably should have purchased the standard-size version. Most ice cream recipes you find online are written for smaller machines, so you’ll often need to adjust quantities to fit this one. Overall, it’s a solid product—just be aware of the larger capacity before buying.

Bought this to replace my very old White Mountain (no longer available) and pretty much received what I expected for this day and time. Quality is good, but the churning paddle is made of plastic and the container is a bit tall and thin so it does take a very long time to make ice cream. First time out it took 55 minutes - I shut it off. The second time took 1 hr and 10 min and it shut itself off. Consistency of ice cream was correct for homemade. I like that it has what I call a bumper for the bottom of the bucket to help keep canister in place. It is stated that it is quiet, not really, but not too bad. Last note: My brother also bought one of these and tried the hand crank. It bent out of place on the first try. Metal is thin.

Very nice and works great

Cute little icecream maker. Makes 16oz of deliciousness. Instructions are easy to follow and comes with an icecream recipe book. Icecream is made in 20 minutes. Recipes are simple and easy to follow. It’s quiet. The size is perfect for little ones. I’ve used it once and so far it works well. Hopefully it lasts. It does not freeze completely so I recommend placing the creation in the freezer for a few more hours until more solid.

The ice cream maker itself is fairly simple to assemble, but the instruction booklet is not very clear. It lists the parts included, but it does not actually explain how to connect everything or how to operate the machine step-by-step. I had to figure it out on my own, and it would be much more helpful if the manual included basic setup guidance. Another missing detail is the operating time. The booklet provides a few ice cream recipes, but it does not mention how long the machine should run for each one. I had to rely on observing the texture, stopping once it looked thick and creamy. After transferring it to the freezer, the final result became very hard and icy instead of a smooth, scoopable ice cream. Clearer instructions or recommended churn times would definitely improve the experience. The machine works, but the documentation needs to be more complete for beginners.
