The Andymation flipbook kit is the best on the market. Don't bother with the other one sold on this site. High quality lightbox is the only one that has pegs on it to align and hold the paper while you are drawing. The lights are warm yellow rather than bright white, so not only is it easier on the eyes, but it seems to illuminate better through the paper (I have the other one from this site, too, and I can't use it for this very reason). This product was created by an animator/illustrator. It works fantastically and is no doubt the result of his many years of creating flipbooks, dreaming about making the perfect tool for the rest of us to use. This is a perfect gift (my grandsons love it), great for your inner child (I love mine, too), and will take you back to the magic of the simple, fun animation possible with flip drawings. I don't know about you, but I spend a lot of time in my math classes illustrating in the corners of the text book, making small animations as I struggled to understand why algebra would ever be necessary in my life (except for squaring quilts I make, it hasn't been!). Trust me. Spend the extra few bucks and get the Andymation kit and Andymation paper. You won't be sorry. And if you get the other brand first, it's okay. You'll get the Andymation one later because you'll be terribly unhappy and it'll fuel your desire to make flipbooks. Go ahead. Get it. You know you want to. Life is short, so have a little bit of creative fun!
