product is as described. easy to cut with a extra fine circular saw blade. easy to install. for going around electical outlets etc it was better to just cut 4 smaller pieces and attach around it than try to cut a hole in a large one. i did over order by 1 box and hoping to be able to return it as it is unopened.room completly transformed and does limit the echo.

Can’t rave about these highly enough! I bought them to make an extra-long headboard for my bed along the wall. While soundproofing wasn’t my concern, I was very mindful of finding panels that aren’t plasticy or flimsy looking. These were perfect - solid without weighting a million pounds, sturdy, and they felt really high quality! Hanging them was a breeze; I just used black drywall screws through the felt portion. And they were also light enough that I could do everything myself - I didn’t need any extra hands!

I got these to put in a small office in my apartment and I love them. I ended up making my own pattern out of these by cutting some of the panels at 45° angle using a hand circular saw and also had to cut some outlet holes with a jig saw. It required a lot of measuring and planning, but the end result is fantastic. This is my background now for video conference calls and every time I talk to a new colleague they always comment on how nice my background is. Not only that, but the original reason I got these was because my room had a lot of echo and these are supposed to be acoustic panels first and foremost. They certainly do soak up sound and my room no longer echos.There are some drawbacks. For one, you definitely need some kind of saw to cut these. They are real wood on top of the acoustic board backing so they will require at least a hand saw, preferably a circular saw, and at best a table saw with miter jig if you want to cut at an angle. Second, they aren’t cheap. Compared to basic foam panels, these are quite a bit more. Finally, the wood is attached to the acoustic panel with what are essentially heavy duty staples. They’re completely fine if you aren’t cutting the panel, but if you are and any of the panel is cut so that it doesn’t have a staple attaching it to the backing, it will fall off. So make sure you have the appropriate glue to secure the panel to the backing if you plan on cutting these down.Other than that though, I’m very happy with these. Love the look and the sound absorption. If you want to make a statement in a room, you could do much worse than to put these on a wall.Update: Added image of my office wall.

They look good. Wish they were a tad bit longer. Easy to nail up, didn’t need glue.

Great quality, the material is much thicker than anticipated and they are really helping to reduce the noise between rooms. The price does seem to be quite high, but the prime day sale helped a lot.

Worked out perfect for what I needed if for. Easy to apply to walls. Be careful when handling, some of the edges can be sharp.

What the customer should know, that the slats are NOT wood it is MDF covered with a wood look veneer. Several of my end pieces where chipped but because of the way I was going to use them it didn't matter. Overall they look nice but over priced for covered MDF.
