Outset Media Feed The Kraken Essential Edition - A Sailor's Favorite Deduction Game - for 5 to 11 Players Ages 12 and up

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my brother, and played with 6 people the first time and had so much fun. The game is easy to start, and quick paced once you get the hang of it, which really only takes about the first round. If you like One Night Werewolf type games, then you'll love this. The second time we playing was intense, 7 players down to 4 (jumping overboard) to try to win. The simple design is quite ingenious, you really have no idea who's on your team. Lots of fun, will be getting it for my house as well.

Terrific game, my college age son and his friends played 3 times the day it arrived. It is better with more players.

As a fan of logical board games, I frequently play Werewolf and Avalon. I was recently introduced to this game by a friend and instantly fell in love with it. The addition of third-party factions and the "Conversion to Cult" mechanic make the late-game possibilities incredibly rich. The "Off with the Tongue" mechanic prevents a talky player from speaking, and watching them desperately try to communicate through animated body language is an absolute stroke of genius. After playing it just three times, I bought my own copy to play with friends over the weekends, and it was a blast. Anyone who enjoys party board games should definitely consider getting a copy to try out—you won't regret it!

I've only played the short map with at most 7 players. The game is easy to learn, fun for the short length, and has memorable end game moments. It's a good wrap-up game for the night. As the essential edition, the components serve the game well enough. I would like to try this game at a higher player count as I believe it only gets better with more players. Unfortunately, even getting 7 players to the table is a challenge in itself. Still, a good game to have for when the opportunity arises.

Feed The Kraken is the next evolution of the Secret Hitler board game formula. This game feels like it has spent its time studying what made Secret Hitler fun and copied that while also avoiding what may have frustrated some players. If you are coming from other social deduction games, a lot of the setup for the various roles and player powers should feel familiar, but there are more details that flesh out the game into a more advanced and more rewarding gameplay loop.

What a fun game! Glad we bought it. It has become a Fam favorite.

My sister and I discovered this game at Chupacabracon 2 years ago and absolutely fell in love!! Unfortunately, at that time, it was insanely expensive & overseas shipping - granted, that version was all these amazing 3D printed pieces. This version has simplified (less expensive) pieces - but they're still very well made.

What a fun game to play. Our friends brought it over and after playing it with 4 other couples that night, everyone went home and bought the game without knowing it. It was seriously so fun

Super fun game that you can play with a lot of people, would highly recommend to people with a big family/friend group that has a hard time finding a game to play with so many people.

Great game, good for all ages

I was clearly sold a game that someone else had already opened and returned. The box was ripped. Pieces were strewn everywhere. Nothing was in its holders. The pieces the bags were supposed to be in were empty. What a disaster. It was supposed to be a gift for my nephew and now it’s ungiftable.
