Legendary Foods High Protein Sweet Roll Sticky Bun, Sugar Free Snacks

Cinnamon Rolls are our favorite product from Legendary Foods. Tasty, and close enough to keto for a treat now and then. You'd think the sticky buns - with the nuts - would be the winners, but the nuts are chewy for some reason & we find that texture a little unpleasant.

I like these, they meet my needs. And they perfect for on the go, when you that protein and good food source.

These are delicious, and keep me full for hours. The texture is a little dense but warming it up in the microwave softens it into a delicious breakfast or afternoon treat with coffee. I appreciate the high protein content and that it is whey and not soy or pea protein. The plain cinnamon roll is good, a little overly sweet. The sticky bun is my favorite. I wish they weren't so pricey, hence four stars rather than five.

I love the Sweet Sticky Roll!! It’s my go to in the morning on my way to work. It keeps me full until lunchtime. It’s just the right amount of protein I need to keep the hunger at bay! It tastes great and is easy to just throw in your purse or backpack and head out the door.

Not for me.

I've tried both the cinnamon bun flavor and whatever sticky bun is supposed to be. I would say objectively sticky bun actually tastes more like a cinnamon roll even though it doesn't have the cinnamon roll glaze on top. Much like legendary's other products if you dislike one of their products, the rest are going to be about the same. They share the same texture and flavor impact. They're exponentially better heated up—if not, they end up texturally tasting very fibrous because of the protein powders and other additives like psyllium husk. Taste-wise it is pretty bland, even for a protein bar. This product usually is on sale so I was able to purchase it for 22.92 making each bun 2.92 (pack of 10) however, I noticed this brand usually has inflated online pricing so this is much more akin to the purchase price in stores. Additionally, the ingredients lists for those concerned is a bit questionable and they contain 7g of erythritol in each bun to add to that. The macros are 22g of protein for 210kcal which is ok for a protein bar. However, given everything else I couldn't recommend this to anyone. The only plus about this that I did enjoy was the quantity. I felt like the size of the bun was quite substantial and leaves you feeling more satiated compared to other protein bars.

These gave me severe diarrhea for nearly two weeks. So much so that my butt started bleeding. My stomach still isn't right. I have since learned that this company uses a sugar alcohol they have tried to ban for increases cardiovascular issues including stroke risk and blood clotting. The same sugar alcohol in some people acts like an extreme laxative. Besides that, the texture of these is terrible. The pop tart style is much better.

These Ledgenary products are very satisfying, have an excellent flavor for breakfast, or an evening snack. It satisfies my sweet tooth with very low amount of sugar and a good amount of protein. They are also filling. I have tried three of their selections, and will continue as when I can afford them. They are pricy for the amount, but way better than regular purchase of cinnamon roll or donuts.
