So this year mom turned 82 and sadly would have to spend it at home alone a thousand miles away from the rest of us because of unexpected financial and employment changes in our family. So Mom had an "Amazon Birthday" and her gifts were delivered by her friendly Amazon driver but she opened her boxes on the phone with us in real time. When I originally "added items to the cart" for Mom's bday I was sure to order the items she had previously requested but I wanted something fun and unexpected to add to the box. And this my friends was it, and the cupcakes were a huge hit! It was also one of the last things she pulled out of her Amazon Bday box- what she called a box of "adorable little cupcakes!" She even put a candle in one and we sang for her and she ate it after we got off the phone and said she was surprised that they were "delicious!" She was so excited about them that she handed some out to her neighbors so they could have her birthday cupcakes too, and one to her friend across the street for her birthday complete with a candle to blow out for her own bday. She announced that she was putting the last three "in the freezer for later" so they'll be enjoyed when she gets "a crave." So of all the gifts we sent, the cupcakes were THE big hit! Highly recommended and I hope this helps someone bring a smile to someone in THEIR family!
