It charged quickly and is very user friendly. Just connect to ground, connect to the fence and its ready to go. ### ⭐ Only Lasted One Year *by Y***I on 16 May 2026* Stopped working after only 1 year. So much for durability. Even when new it didn't put out nearly the charge that my cheaper plug in unit still does. I purchased a new battery to see if that that was the problem with it, but still completely dead even with a brand new charged battery. I guess it was well engineered since it did work just up until the warranty expired. I have no idea what the Day/Night mode ever was and just had it in Day mode all the time as I certainly didn't want to flip the switch twice a day. The one thing I liked about it is the mounting system that allowed you to just set it on any T-post post.
