Q: Does this product off any UV protection or is it just hydrophobic and helps add shine?

Yes, it does offer some protection from the elements including the sun but this is primarily a detailer mist and wipe not a long lasting wax protection. This would be used as maintenance to wipe down the paint removing light dirt, dust and other fresh/loose contaminants. If you want the best protection you should be using a dedicated wax.

Q: I like using meguiars gold class caranuba plus premium paste wax after each wash. can i apply ultimate quick detailer before or after waxing or both?

Yes absolutely. The bottle itself actually says “the missing link between wash and wax”. I have been using this for 11 years now and I love it.

Q: Gold or Ultimate for Black sports car?

I use the Ultimate on both my cars. A Porsche 911 S and BMW X5. Both are dark gray in color. This stuff works great on both. I have been detailing cars for 30 years and I actually switched to this stuff because it works so well. I would assume it would work well on a black car. Use a clean micro cloth to apply. Spray on the car a section at a time. Wash the car first. Appling on a dirty car will work the dirt like sand paper. It will dull and scratch the finish. Hope this helps.
