Duracell DA312B16ZM09 Button Cell Hearing Aid Battery #312, 16/Pk

We buy these for my mom. She has poor eyesight and arthritis in her hands but could still use these batteries by herself until they cha ged the packaging. Now the tabs are shorter and arranged in a circular pattern in a hard to remove configuration. Research showed this to be due to a child proofing requirement. Well, now pity the poor older person who has to ask for help with one more frustratingly packaged necessity.The picture still shows the old packaging, don’t be fooled, you won’t get that now.

Great for my Phonak hearing aid. Last around a week or more.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these batteries...especially because they don't have the hard child proofing plastic you need a wire cutter for. My kids are all grown up and I'm getting too old to open the ones that are child proof. These are great!

The picture shows 8 batteries with long tabs in a plastic container (that will survive in one's jeans back pocket. What I got was 8 batteries with short tabs on a cardboard card. Come on Amazon, you have to keep your pictures and descriptions up to date. and, this was an "ordered before" item. I expected the same as I got last time.Now on to the new battery pack. Well, at least it will survive in my back pocket - the little packet appears to be indestructible. The only opening instruction is that little scissors icon (maybe) indicating to cut away the cardboard. I cut away the cardboard to find the batteries encased between two layers of plastic, inseparably fused together. I had to cut a battery out like a piece of pie and then use tweezers to get in between the plastic layers to actually remove the battery. So unless I also carry a pair of scissors and and a pair of tweezers in my back pocket, I'm screwed if i need to replace a battery when not home.

What can I say. It’s a battery. Good price though.

So glad they came promptly! The ones I bought previously were very difficult to get out of the round container. It’s supposed to have one little area to cut away the cardboard so wheel container is turned the battery drops out. Well, it didn’t and was very aggravating! Enter these tried and true batteries! I won’t try to save money on hearing aid batteries again.

I think these batteries do not last quite as long as Energizer, but You can open the package without ruining every pair of scissors in the house. Not many old people with hearing aids, and arthritic hands can wrestle their way into the insane packaging that Energizer decided to use. Most of the elderly do not need child proof packaging. Those who are taking care of young children know how to keep batteries away from children. What is the age of the majority of your buyers. Thank you Duracell for meeting our needs!
