With the modern day comes all the modern gadgets. This robot vacuum cleaner is no exception. It practically becomes a most used machine in the household. I have a dog so cleaning dog hair is a constant battle. The comfort of using this robot vacuum remotely via mobile app is genius. Before I would finish at work I set everything up on the app and by the time I’m home he hoovered and mopped the floors. It is very quiet so it can work even when you’re sleeping. Have a massive dust collection inside its housing so once finished cleaning he self empties and also washes the mopping pads after use. The set up is very easy and the app is straightforward and easy too. It roams around your house nicely and quietly scanning the floor and once have a floor plan it is ready to go. Also it is easily going over obstacles as the robot lifts up if it needs to get on or off carpets etc

Originally rated this product 2 stars. However after playing around with the settings and using it for a few days, I've updated my rating to 4 stars. I have 2 large highly shedding dogs (a long haired GSD and Rough Collie so the hairs are endless!) The L10s did a relatively good job vacuuming, however the robot did have some trouble returning to the docking station at the beginning. I set the bot down about 5 feet away from the docking station and it still couldn't locate it at one point! I have been noticing this is happening less often now and it seems to be getting better at finding its way home. Performance wise, it did a pretty good job vacuuming (better than the Roborock QV35S which really surprised me as the Roborock has the better write up about cleaning dog fur on all surfaces), but the Dreame L10s did have to go over the mats quite a few times compared to the Eufy L60, which out of the 3 i found to be the most effective at cleaning dog hair on both hardfloors and mats/carpets (a plus seeing as it is also the cheapest by a considerable amount!) I would say all in all the Dreame L10 Ultra Gen 2 lifted about 90-95% of the dog hair on mats/carpets. On hard floors, it worked great and the customisation options in the app are a plus along with the mopping which i thought worked well and didn't leave the floor too wet. The self cleaning of the pads and the self-empting all worked well and without issue. All in all this is a great bot and in my opinion much better on mats and carpets than the Roborock Qrevo QV35s. However, as a dog owner of 2 large fluffballs, my main priority is how a bot cleans dog fur on all surfaces, and as I mentioned, I found the considerably cheaper Eufy L60 superior at this. Although this bot does have other compromises such as a lot less app customisation options and it tends to bump into things much more than the Roborock and Dreame offerings. All in all, good product but not good enough at lifting the dog hairs. Im looking into getting a Eufy X8 Pro instead, hoping performs similarly to the L60 at vacuuming, but with a little more to offering in terms of navigation and app features.

I had a gen 1 of these which I loved until one of the valves went and it leaked water every time the robot left the base station - it was a reluctant return as I found articles stating how to fix it, but it was within the returns period so I sent it back. I then decided to try another brand to see if I was missing out - switched to a Eufy model and yearned for the Dreame! I decided to return the Eufy and this time go for the next generation, and honestly using this is like sending its “cousin” away for a few months to then receive a bigger and more capable bot (despite looking very similar!). The tanks are much bigger for the water making it last longer without needing to be topped up. Dreame have done away with the single use detergent cartridges and instead have a removable reservoir you can top up when low. Using the robot there is now a lot more automation in the app and the maps are customisable with furniture to track what permanent obstacles there are on the map. The core function (cleaning!) is much improved too - vacuuming is more powerful while being quieter, whilst the results from mopping are incredible; I now feel like this combination would mean only having to do a proper clean on the tiles (they are textured so need a deep clean) every week rather than almost daily. For those questioning the time saving - I agree it is quicker for me to get out a hoover and do the room myself, but the point of this is more about having something else that can take the effort away for you. This is much better than the generation 1 that I loved and I would definitely recommend to others

Only had it for 2 days and have only tried the vacuum function. It has good suction and cleans well, but it’s completely useless when it comes to returning to the base station. It won’t even empty itself, even when placed manually on the base. The software is terrible. It worked with my iPhone 13 but wouldn’t connect at all with my Samsung Note Pro Ultra. Overall, a complete waste of time and money - terrible quality. Returning it now... Update: Decided to give ti a second chance and ordered replacement instead of the refund. The second one is now arrive and everything is working as it should and it even connected to my Samsung phone this time. I believe that the first one had a faulty base station. Not sure what the reliabililty will be like but it has 2 years warranty so will see. I am not sure how many stars to give it now so will leave on the orginal - Amazon does not allow separate scoring for the same product....

I almost didn't buy this because of the poor reviews regarding the app and firmware and build quality. The robot itself has been build to a high quality in my opinion. I am using a Samsung S24 ultra with the app and again works fine. I think the problem is with most people they think that they can just leave it to get on and ignore the service messages that come up on the app. If it says to clean/empty something... Do it. It will literally say when a brush/pad/filter needs changing and you can pick up a multi pack of these cheaply from Temu. And program the app properly, I had a few teething problems at first like it was mopping the rug! Now I have set it to only hoover the rug (weirdly there is a setting to mop the carpet). Also make sure there are no loose wires on the floor or it will hook off the magnetic mop pads. This has all the features of the much more expensive makes for half the price if you can get one for under £300.00. Time will tell but I'm happy to come down to a clean floor every morning.
