I was introduced to this brand when I was on vacation in Italy in the fall. This is an amazing, moisturizing dry oil. The quality is fantastic and super luxe. It has an amazing texture and really hydrates your skin without leaving it feeling really oily. I love using it at night before I go to bed. I wake up in my skin is still moisturized. And the scent is so good but not overpowering. Highly recommended!

i’ve been using NUXE Huile Prodigieuse again, for a few weeks now, and it’s quickly again becoming a staple in my skincare routine. Here's a breakdown of my decades of experience: Texture and Absorption: The texture of this dry oil is luxurious yet incredibly lightweight. As someone who usually avoids oils because of their greasiness, I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly this one absorbs into the skin without leaving any residue. It’s not heavy at all, and it truly lives up to its “dry oil” claim—leaving a soft, velvety finish that feels nourishing, not greasy. Scent: The fragrance is absolutely divine. It has a warm, slightly floral scent that feels indulgent without being overpowering. The scent lingers subtly on the skin, which makes it feel like I’m wearing a delicate perfume. It’s calming and uplifting, perfect for day or night use. Multi-Purpose Versatility: One of the best things about this oil is its versatility. I’ve used it on my face, body, and hair with excellent results. On the face, it gives a beautiful glow and works wonderfully under makeup. For my body, it leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft and hydrated, especially on areas prone to dryness like elbows and legs. As a hair oil, it adds a lovely shine without making my hair look oily or weighed down—just a few drops are enough to tame frizz and add smoothness. Nourishing Properties: With ingredients like Tsubaki oil, Argan oil, and Macadamia oil, it’s packed with nourishing properties. My skin feels more moisturized and supple after using it regularly. It’s also great for soothing dry patches, especially as the weather gets colder. The hydration lasts, and I’ve noticed an overall improvement in my skin’s texture. Value for Money: Though it's a bit on the pricier side compared to regular body oils, I believe it’s worth every penny because of its high quality and multi-functionality. I love this stuff. I had used it years ago when I was overseas in Holland. It leaves your skin feeling very soft, smells very nice. It’s a soft scent and not overpowering. Even my nephews love it. 30 weeks pregnant today and I was starting to experience bad acne, started using this instead of my usual routine and after a week it all cleared up and my skin looked even better! I even attempted to use it on my belly in addition to my belly creams and it’s a nice addition. You just need two sprays into your hands and you can rub onto whatever surface, doesn’t leave skin oily.

I love this dry oil. It's very feminine and has nice staying power without being overwhelming. It smells like a lighter, more sophisticated version of Sand de Sable to me. Great on the body or in hair and provides a scant amount of shimmer without being greasy. I like to change my scent up often, but I have found myself wearing this every day now for the past couple of months (and I’m only halfway through the bottle).

For the record, I am definitely sensitive to some fragrances and can feel "claustrophobic" when wearing certain fragranced products. I decided to take a chance on this because of all the great reviews and actually was able to try it on in a department store after I'd already placed my order so I knew it was a return by the time it arrived. The weight of the oil is beautiful and it really does soak into the skin quickly without leaving a greasy residue. The fragrance however was WAY too strong for me. It reminds me of a "Tahitian white flower" perfume a friend of mine used to own. Definitely a heavy tropical floral fragrance and it's pretty - I can understand why many people like it. But the scent did not dissipate at all after over an hour of wear. It almost smelled to me like I was wearing perfume and I only tried it on one arm. I couldn't imagine using this on my face or on large parts of my body. I had to actually wash it off because it was making me nauseous. So if you're like me and don't like products that are strongly fragranced, please do not buy this. You'll regret it. I did end up ordering the same oil in the pink bottle which, based on reviews, has a much lighter and more citrusy scent that may work for me. I really liked the texture and hope the second try will be a winner! Update - I returned the pink "florale" bottle, as well. The scent was a bit softer but settled down to a sort of "clean laundry" scent that smelled too synthetic for me. Hopefully I can find a dry oil with a fragrance that works.

I was skeptical that a face oil could really be all that, but it *is* all that. I’m over 40 in a dry climate, and that has made my skin feel so fresh and awake. I’ve been using it 2-3 times a day on my face, sometimes on the ends of my hair. And it smells so good!

So….I’ve been eyeing this product for… I want to say 2 years or so? I’m always hesitant to buy scented items without knowing what the smell is actually like. Anyway, I finally gave in and bought it (hoping to instantly transform into a “French cool girl”). I will say I like this product as an interesting/lighter alternative to an actual body lotion…mainly because my skin often becomes a bit of a slip and slide after putting on lotion (particularly in the summer months when I’m sweating at all times). This dry oil really is just that - a DRY oil. It moisturizes without leaving you greasy. It doesn’t however moisturize me as well as a milkier lotion does, which perhaps should have been expected. This works well for me now in the summer but when winter comes.. I might switch to something a tad more heavy duty (or might even mix this with a lotion for a little hybrid product). I have not used this on my face yet… I fear that putting scented items on my face will plague me with a breakout for the ages.. technically it says it CAN be used on the face though, and I lowkey trust the French more than anybody else to make something somehow both scented and friendly to sensitive skin…BUT I’ll conduct that experiment later. Now for the SMELL… man… so I was expecting something…I don’t know… floral…sweet… enigmatic in a cool French way… unfortunately when I opened the bottle and gave it a little spritz the first thing I thought was “elderly woman” - now that’s not a knock on elderly women..they are generally lovely people..and one day inevitably I too will become one…BUT I think we all know that kind of overly flowery but also powdery smell that somehow has become synonymous with women of a certain age…that’s what this smelled like straight out of the bottle. I thought maybe I was just paranoid and it was all in my head. I sprayed some in front of my boyfriend’s sister (who is slightly more young and hip than myself) and the first thing she said was “that kind of smells like old lady”. My boyfriend said “maybe a little bit old lady-ish but more like a fancy hotel to me”. He may have just been trying to be nice…the jury is still out on that one. I WILL SAY HOWEVER the smell CHANGES as I wear it. And apparently this is not just me acclimating to the smell. The bf’s sister agreed - much of the “old lady” smell faded almost to the point of being indistinguishable and instead a more pleasant smell of orange blossom came to the forefront after a few minutes of the product being on the skin. Personally I love the smell of orange blossom, so I was down with this shift. I’ve made many people smell my arm to test the smell shift theory and there appears to be a consensus - not great straight out of the bottle, but pretty nice and “sophisticated” smelling after it settles on the skin. A little tip I have learned thus far through my trial and error with this product is to try applying it to the skin when you’re straight out of the shower - that way it can spread more easily by mixing with any water drops already on the skin. When my skin is completely dry it’s a little harder for me to distribute the product evenly. All in all, while this product didn’t necessarily meet the lofty expectations I had for it, it still, in a small way, makes me feel a little cooler, wealthier, and generally more sophisticated than I really am whenever I use it…and for a relatively painless price…so I will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

Smell so good and stay on skin. It makes my skin feel soft. Definitely repurchase again
