great study of Neal Schon and Journey guitar work
I've been a big fan of Neal Schon's guitar prowess and Journey's AOR radio-friendly rock for many years. As a guitarist, I love Neal's soaring, fluid, effortless yet powerful style. He is a true guitar hero, sometimes overshadowed by the pop leanings and power ballads of his band. If you're looking to explore the guitar techniques and absorb the well-crafted chords of some of Journey's biggest hits, this is a great book. Like all of the Guitar Anthology Series books I have seen, this is acurate tab with clear layout in an easily read format.

It's a great start for learning some of their popular songs.It didn't have everything I was looking for though. All in all good.

Great way to learn some Joureny songs
I have never found one of these tab books without mistakes and this one is the same. But mistakes in music usually stand out so use your ear and make the corrections as needed. These tablature books make learning the songs much faster then figuring out the music yourself. I can't imagine how many record albums i ruined back in the 70's & 80's trying to figure a song out by backing up the needle to hear it again and again!!This is a very good book to learn some Journey songs!

Great book
I wanted to learn Neil Schon's guitar parts and I believe that this has fit the bill. A pretty good book of their greatest hits.

洋書は注意
ギタ−だけのtab表示品です。他パ−トはありません。海外出版品だけにチョ−キング表示もちょっと違うので見慣れるまで戸惑います。歌詞も1番は音符と一緒に書かれていますが2番の歌詞は（その曲の最後のペ−ジ）欄外に書かれています。日本で発売されているスコアと比較すると不親切です。キ−ポ−ドから始まる曲などはギタ−にアレンジされており、キ−ポ−ドがいないバンドの方はいいですけど、この楽譜の利点はそれだけです。曲目は下記の通りです。・ANY WAY YOU WANT IT・BE GOOD TO YOURSELF・DON'T STOP BELIEVIN'・ESCAPE・FAITHFULLY・GIRL CAN'T HELP IT・LIGHTS・LOVIN',TOUCHIN',SQUEEZIN'・ONLY THE YOUNG・OPEN ARMS・SEND HER MY LOVE・SEPARATE WAYS(WORLDS APART)・STILL THEY RIDE・STONE IN LOVE・WHEEL IN THE SKY・WHO'S CRYING NOWこういうスコアは割とすぐに絶版になってしまって手に入らないので洋書で食い付いたのですが・・・。洋書についてはもっと情報が欲しいです。私の失敗が他の方の参考になれば幸いです。【追記】「洋書についてはもっと情報を」と書いたせいか、現在はAmazon.com(US)のレビューが併記されています。 私が購入及びレビュー投稿時は何もありませんでしたので上記の内容でレビューしました。(しかしネイティブによる英文で書かれていては全ての人が判るわけでもないでしょうに。)
