My husband is the most un-handy person on the planet and quickly and easily installed both of these after we had paid someone 9 months ago to fix our door (the handyman picked a cheap replacement). This one is very sturdy and great quality - will last many years to come! Don’t pay someone to install it - if my husband can install them easily and successfully - ANYONE can!

Very good quality product. The only instructions were the packaging list. A bit confusing on what went where as there was no step by step. No instructions on how to use it. We couldn’t figure out how to get the latch closer to release and close the door. You have to open the door all the way before it will release. Much better than the original closer that came with the door (not an Anderson door so yes it can be used with others. We had move the door brackets a bit for it to fit.). Worth the $, just needs more instructions or a link to an install online.

I could not fine this color at any big box or lumber chain store. Amazon had it all including the set of closures and color that fit my door. Installation was easy. Per instructions there were some simple adjustments needed for door closing properly/softly.
