UPDATE: After my 2 week trip traveling through Italy with carry-on only, my updated review is still a 5 star review but here's some feedback after using for an extended trip over the pond. PROS: *Comfortable to carry with padded back and shoulder straps. *40L is a great size but is on the larger side. Wish this exact bag (color wise: Grey Green-black) came in smaller 30L. *Lots of pockets for great organization *Comes with 3 additional bags to organize your belongings that you can't place in pockets. The 8x10" worked great for travel essentials. *Attaches to luggage with handy strap on back. Made it easy to pull my luggage through airports and hotels. *Main compartment opens at an 180 degree angle which makes packing SO easy! *The fabric seems really durable. Not a smudge on the backpack and traveled on planes, trains and automobiles. Italy was wet and raining too! CONS: *If you plan to use this as a "personal carry on" piece, it is larger than most airline specs so if the bag is full, this backpack might get flagged. I got a lot of glances from airline staff but thankfully got it through. *I may have gotten it through but it does not fit under the seat unless 1/2 full. This was especially problematic when coming home and was loaded with souvenirs. It did not fit under my seat and BARELY fit overhead on an Airbus A330-300 (Air Canada) or AIRBUS A350-900 (Lufthansa). If the airline was completely full, I honestly don't think they would've let me bring my carry on luggage as well as this larger sized backpack. *the drink sleeve on the outside of the bag is small so I could not fit my light weight travel 24oz Owala water bottle when on the backpack is on the fuller size. Works well though when backpack is 1/2 full. Overall, this size worked amazingly for my 2 week trip to Europe but would think twice about bringing it again if I plan to doing carry on luggage and this as a personal carry on during high season. I'm fairly confident this would not be allowed when packed at full capacity, which is easy to do. I think this size would work beautifully for a long weekend. *************** I'm already in love with this bag. I’m heading on a two-week trip to Italy with carry-on luggage only, and I quickly realized my go-to tote wasn’t going to cut it. After searching high and low, this ended up being the best option for my needs. This 40L bag has tons of internal pockets to keep everything organized, and if that’s not enough, it also comes with a shoe bag and two accessory pouches; perfect for storing essentials during long-haul flights. The main compartment has plenty of room for a jacket, a few days worth of clothing, and a pair of shoes without feeling overly stuffed. I’ve used it once so far for a quick weekend trip, and my only complaint is that I wish the two larger compartments had double zippers. Currently, only the main one has that feature. The double zipper would allow for anti-theft clips to help slow down or prevent access to the outer pockets in crowded areas.. I don’t plan to store valuables there, but it would’ve been nice to have the option. Overall, this is a great bag for the price. The material feels very durable and well-made. One thing worth noting: I ordered both the blue/black and green/black versions to compare. I assumed both were the same but different color ways. However, the blue/black had more of a high-end canvas feel, while the green/black was more of a nylon material. Both were nice, but I ultimately preferred the green/black colorway and fabric.

Stop scrolling and looking for other travel bags immediately and pull the trigger and buy this one. (I’m not paid or didn’t get any discount on this purchase-just strait up telling you an honest review.) I spent hours scrolling looking for a travel bag, reading multiple reviews/watching the videos people posted on it, and ended up ordering a couple different ones to try before my trip. This bag by far was the best one!! I returned the other ones I got off of Amazon and I can’t tell you how happy I am over this bag!!! It holds a lot of things, has great compartments for multiple storage, and the clasps on the side were great in holding my 40 oz water bottle and blanket. It fit perfectly under the seat too…and when I say the bag was packed full, it was!!! I had a cross over body bag that I carry like a purse full of all the essentials I need for the plane-air-buds, snacks, glasses, charger, gum, lip gloss, tissues, brush, small mirror, meds, and phone/money and it fit in the computer compartment of the bag perfectly. When you fly, you get one carry on and one personal item. I used this backpack as my personal item, and having my cross bag fit in it, I was able to take that out when I got on the plane, so I didn’t need to get in my backpack at all. This bag was perfect for this trip and I can’t wait to use it again in 2 weeks when I travel again.

Great travel bag , passes airport weight for free carry on , super cute and pretty spacious. Love it , comes with tag for you to put your name and info in case you lose it . Easy to clean

Awesome and very affordable, and durable bag for travel - I love it!!! Hard to believe I can get this for ~$40! I have 2 in different colors, and ordered a 3rd for my daughter. I love the various color options that are available. Has qualified as a *personal bag* on American, United and Spirit airlines, both domestic and international travel *(although on a recent Alaska airlines trip it did not work as a personal bag for under-seat storage for the aisle seat as there was an obstruction and I needed to place it in the overhead bin). Overall, for 2-4 day trips this has been my only bag - no worries about finding space in the overhead bins. For longer trips, I've used it as my personal bag, in addition to a carry on bag placed in overhead compartment, as it fits under the seat in front of me!!! It has the convenience of a backpack (the straps are padded and comfortable) with the functionality of a small suitcase, as the main packing compartment zips fully open, and has compression straps. And there are lots of additional storage areas/zippered pockets, water bottle pocket and a padded laptop compartment. It also has 2 added carry handle options, and 4 external buckle/compression straps to help cinch everything up, and keep everything compact. Look at the listing for exact details as I can't do it justice here. Worth every penny.

This is a great bag for the price with lots of useful compartments for travel. I travel for work and use this backpack as my “personal item”, and the bag has fit under the seat on all airlines I have travelled (United, Delta, JetBlue, Southwest, Spirit, Breeze and British Airways). It has helpful buckles on the sides, a built-in padded laptop pocket and a key chain to hold your keys which is very useful. The outer material is soft and the overall shape of it is a little saggy by now, but that is mostly due to me overpacking it a bit since this is my only luggage. It has definitely been worth the money. It is cute and stylish while very practical. I don’t expect it to last “forever” but I have used it on countless travels domestically and internationally and highly recommend it and will get another one when the day comes when I need to update this one.

the pocket holds the narrow bottom of a stanley 40 Oz. it doesn't slip all the way down. however, threading the side strap/buckle through the handle will absolutely secure it. holds two 16 in macs securely and the main compartment is huge. I *love* this bag. four stars only because some stretchy material would have worked in that pocket to hold my tumbler. missed opportunity there

I just returned from a 2 week trip to Europe taking this backpack. It is a perfect carry-on backpack. It has handles and can be carried like a suitcase or straps to wear like a backpack. There are plenty of pockets to put smaller items and papers. It is roomy and durable. I love the bright purple color which is as pictured. The packing bags are nice, but they are small. I intend to carry this backpack on many trips to come.

Love it! Its bigger than I thought (which is good) I had a hard time finding a backpack that fits my computer, that holds a lot of items in for my todller. As diaper bags are uncomfortable. Great price, very light. It feels very durable, great material. I need it for travel and its perfect!
