TESSAN Outdoor Smart Plug Waterproof, 2.4GHz WiFi Only

I just started using this outdoor smart plug for a few months now, and I’m really impressed with how well it works. Setup was a breeze — it connected to my home Wi-Fi through the app in just a couple of minutes. I use it mainly to control my string lights and garden fountain, and it’s been incredibly convenient to schedule everything right from my phone. The plug is definitely weather-resistant. We’ve had heavy rain and even a heat wave recently, and it held up without any issues. The dual outlets are a big plus — I can control two devices independently, which saves me from needing multiple plugs. Integration with Alexa was seamless. I just say, “Alexa, turn on backyard lights,” and it’s done. No lag, no missed commands. Overall, this smart plug has made managing outdoor electronics so much easier. Great for holidays, patio lights, or any setup where reaching for a switch is a hassle. Highly recommend!

I purchased this to run some grow lights that I am installing in a winter greenhouse in my garage and after getting the app setup on my smartphone and plugging everything in, it worked way better than I expected. It has 3 individually controllable outlets which I did not realize it had when I first purchased this device. You can name each outlet in the app and can set a timer on each outlet individually to run on a schedule if needed. I was really happy about that. I can run the grow lights and two other items in my garage off the same outlet. The instructions are a little confusing to be honest, but I was able to figure it out in just a few minutes by looking at some of the pictures. With Amazon Alexa integration, I am able to turn on the grow lights when I want by voice command via my Echo Show in the house through the Alexa Skill mentioned in the instructions. This is a Fantastic Outlet for the price and I highly recommend this item.

I bought 3 of these switches 3 years ago to control my outdoor Christmas lights. These worked so well I've converted the plugs to control my accent lighting during the rest of the year that my Christmas lights are not up. When I bought Bistro lights for my backyard I bought a 4th plug, it too has worked like a charm. To give you some background I'm a home automation nerd. If I can automate it. I've done it. I've worked with other smart plugs in the past and can say that they can sometimes be tricky, Not always wanting to connect to your wifi when they are 1st set up, or re-connect if there is a power outage. That was not the case with these. All 4 of mine connected to the smart life app without any issue, and after 3 years, I've never had an issue with them not auto reconnecting after a power outage. My units also live outdoors 24x7x365 and deal with seasonal weather changes. So far they are still going strong. In short would recommend this unit for the following reasons: > easiest Smart plug I've used to initialize on your wifi network > I've never had an issue reconnecting them to my wifi after a power outage > 3 years of living outdoors and they have survived so far. > The Smart Life App is really easy to work with > They connect and work with my Echo device seemlessly

I have several of these in operation. They last long and work well - except they do not reboot properly without internet access, which is strange and a negative mistake on the mfg part. This device does NOT perform power ons of remote device unless connected to the internet! Very misleading. When setting up a "scene" to restart a device or, in other words, power cycle it remotely I found a very serious problem: the timer appears to be on the app / phone / tablet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The timer ***SHOULD*** have been set so that a restart script is sent to the device and it will turn off the outlet and then turn it back on from the device itself, but instead if you restart something that is on the internet and it loses an internet connection then the device will NEVER restart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is very important that this not be used on situations where you need it to be reliable or restart anything reliably in a remote fashion.

I have 3 of these. 2 have failed in under 2 years. The begin clicking off and on randomly. Would not buy again.

This Smart Plug outdoor 3-way switch is exactly what I was looking for for my outdoor fountain. My fountain has two power cords - one for the fountain and one for the lights. I wanted a Smart Plug that works with WiFi and Alexa and that offers independent time scheduling for each outlet. Most of the Smart Plugs out there only allow you to set one schedule that applies to all of the outlets. This works with the SmartLife App, which I already use to control all of the Smart Plugs in my home, so adding this outlet switch was super-easy. This Smart Plug allows me to schedule my fountain to turn on at 6am and off at 9:45pm, and the lights turn on at 6:30pm and off at 9pm, so it's fantastic! When I need to clean the fountain, I just ask Alexa to turn off my fountain and she does her thing. I absolutely love this Outlet Switch and highly recommend.

Great wattage handling capability, connects to Smartlife quickly and easily, programmable times, and gooodndurability i cannot ask for more. Mine powers my 1200w bog pump a deep water aerator and huge waterfall pump without overheating

I was looking for a smart switch, this was very easy to set up, and there are several options to control it I just happen to use this art life app which I was using for other Wi-Fi devices, the extra bonus is that there are 3 switched receptacles if you want to do different sections or zones it's ready to go. I only needed one but it gives me a chance to expand to 2 additional areas very easily, this works very well with a low Wi-Fi signal I have and at first I didn't know that it would work but works very well from a very far from my router with no problems, I would recommend this to anyone needing a Wi-Fi controllable switched receptacle.

Sucede que si manualmente habilitas un enchufe a traves de la app, y luego lo apagas, y si posteriormente se va la luz del hogar, el enchufe que fue habilitado manualmente, se enciende. Entonces, si no estas en casa, se te va la luz, y ésta regresa, el enchufe que habias habilitado manualmente en una ocasion anterior, se enciende, y si tenias conectado ahi una bomba para llenar un tinaco, vas a desperdiciar mucha agua. Asi que no lo recomiendo para conectar bombas de llenado de tinacos o cisternas.
