We love these! They provide a wide forefoot, allowing my boys toys to have room and be comfy. They have held up so well as their everyday shoe and toe drags on scooter rides. Easy for my 3 and 4 year olds to get on. Can also be worn for a nicer look, they wore them for a wedding.

I am a Doctor of Chiropractic, so I'm very particular with how my children's shoes compliment the biomechanics of the human foot. The only shoes I allow my children to wear are Whitin shoes or shoes much like them. They look super cool, and they are very affordable. I have found that they hold up well. We have had these shoes for our son for months and are satisfied.What I love about Whitin shoes are the fact that they are built to allow the human foot to simply do what it was designed to do. This is accomplished in these shoes by having no incline in the heel (zero drop) so the posterior chain of your leg (calf and hamstrings) are not flexed and shortened, and by having a wide toe box so that your toes can spread out as far as they need to. A zero drop and a wide toe box allow for the proper motion of the 26 bones within the foot. When the foot moves properly, it absorbs shock. If the foot doesn't move properly, such as when you are wearing bad shoes (please note: 99% of shoes are made with an incline in the heel and a narrow toe box, and are therefore classified as bad in this doctors opinion), shock will not get absorbed by the foot as well and will get absorbed by your knees, hips, and spine, especially the low back. Whitin shoes are also great because they are minimalist and have a thin sole. This allows for greater proprioception between the brain and the feet (proprioception is the brains ability to sense where body parts are in space). In essence, when you buy shoes, you want them to mimic walking barefoot. This is particularly important for a developing child. Your child's feet can develop while wearing shoes that disrupt the natural biomechanics of the foot or you can ensure their feet develop well anatomically and mechanically by getting them shoes like Whitin shoes.If you have kids and need some good shoes, find yourself some high-quality zero drop, wide toe box shoes like Whitins!

Once you start paying attention to barefoot shoes, there is apparently no going back. I used to think buying my son shoes involved finding something gray, reasonably cute, and in his size.Now I’m over here bending soles, inspecting toe boxes, and contemplating the long-term structural consequences of elementary-school footwear.These gray WHITINs check basically every box without looking aggressively “barefoot.” They have a nice wide toe box, the sole is flexible, and his feet actually have room to move instead of being squeezed into the general shape of a torpedo.And the gray is PERFECT for a kid. Neutral enough to go with basically everything and forgiving enough that I’m not personally victimized by every speck of dirt he encounters.Most importantly, he can run, climb, play, and do all the things little boys do while I get to enjoy the completely irrational satisfaction of knowing his toes aren’t being held hostage by his shoes.Five stars. He thinks he got cool gray sneakers. I think I’ve protected his future 80-year-old feet. Everybody wins.

My son loved these shoes. He is 6 yrs old. They fit perfect and had room for his wide toes/feet. After only 2 months of wear he wore holes in his toes as he likes to drag his feet while playing and riding his bike.

Great shoes! They are very comfortable and easy to put on. They have a barefoot feel without being too minimalist for little kids' feet. The velcro closure instead of laces makes them easy for kids to put on by themselves and wear all day at school. They're made of a nice, breathable material, and we use them as part of our school uniform.

My son had started to complain how his toes were feeling cramped and tight in shoes, so I immediately started looking for options online.If you don’t know, when we’re young our feet need space to grow not only in length but in width! Most shoes bind our feet and leave them too narrow.I’ve known this but honestly had been putting it off because I thought the options out there were too expensive.These are the perfect option for my son! They’re wide enough for his toes now. They’re a great price! He can get them on and off quickly with the Velcro. And they’re great for play, school and evening dressing up. Love these!

Great shoes for kids with wide growing feet. We got ours literally 3 days ago and they are "ripping". So they won't last which is pretty upsetting as we love the shoes

La punta de tela no duró nada, al primer día se le salieron hilos y estaba raspada. Se les dio uso rudo, es cierto, el par anterior que había comprado de la misma marca duraron perfecto por que la punta es plastificada. Sería una gran mejora en el producto.

Zapatos de calidad justo lo que esperaba, muy cómodos y hasta el momento muy resistentes y se ajustan al número, no pidas más grande o chico de tu número.

Calidad muy regular en la tela. Se raspan muy fácil. La verdad no los volvería a comprar
