hOmeLabs Dehumidifier 1,800 Sq Ft 8 Pint (MAX 24 Pint at 95°F, 90% RH)

We live in a very humid place in our humidity gets very high in our house. We were worried about mold growth so we got this dehumidifier. It runs almost constantly because of how high our humidity gets. But it keeps it at a good percentage and has had no issues. This is a very good product and has done its job.

Works great and easily keeps my basement less humid. Connects easily to the app, and the app is pretty straightforward. It is a little louder than I thought it'd be when it's on, but it's nothing that's not easy to talk over. I like the carrying handle for dumping out the water and filter is easy to remove and clean. I had a smaller humidifier before that I'd have to empty twice daily and this one I empty twice per week and the humidity level is the same.

So back in 2021 I bought the 7000 sq/ft unit for my 1800 sq/ft home and it IMMEDIATELY took care of my humidity issue(s)...beyond impressed.Fast forward 5+ years and the unit has failed (or is VERY close to failing) and I decided to buy the 1800 sq/ft unit for my master bedroom and while YES, it does work....my room is generally around 50-55% humidity in the summer and when I take a shower 65%. To get the bedroom back down to 50-55% will take about 8 hours and fill the VERY small tank. VERY tiny tank.Only get this unit if you have a small space and/or have the ability to run the water line to a drain/outside....otherwise, buy the largest unit you can afford but knowing that if you're home is 1800 sq/ft and you're trying to combat even moderate humidity, this unit will disappoint you.side note: this unit has raised the temperature in my bedroom 2 degrees F and it's not exactly quiet, but not NEAR as loud as the larger unit I bought initially.

This thing works great. I have bout several other brands for my home but this is by far the best. I have a 1,600sq ft home. And I empty this dehu 3-4 times a day during the really humid days. My other dehus (same size, different brands) don't seems to run as well and they maybe fill once a day. It is a bit noisy but I like white noise.

This is my third dehumidifier in life. My last one was a Aeocky but the compressor broke only after a year and it was light use.Let me start off by saying that no dehumidifier is quiet. You can only hope for the quietest possible. Your ether going to have execsive fan noise to drown out the compressor, or have compressor buzzing noise with a low fan. For me, my preference is to not hear a loud fan like a huricane. I much rather here the compressor over constant wind. With that being said, this home lab dehumidifier is about as quiet as it is going to get. This is the main reason why I chose it from the reviews.Pros:- Quiet fan (for a dehumidifier). I much rather hear a compressor over loud wind noise- Does a good job. I mean really good! I was impressed how it handled my 300 sqft living room.- Humid stat is about 3%-5% off. This might sound like a bad thing, but the Aeocky I had before was 10% off so I can live with 3%-5% off.- Quality operation panel and buttons. Has a good feel.- Good wheels- Long cord ... A++ on this.Cons:- Blows air from the side (big con here). I much rather have it blow air upwards but I will have to live with it. Better than a loud fan model that blows upwards. Note: I placed marine vents on there to push the air upwards- Plastic housing on it is a little thin (including the water bin). Everything else feels good quality... the control panel, the motor, decompressor has a good feel... it's only the plastic housing that feels a bit thin. But that is ok with me as that part is only cosmetic.- It would of been nice if there were 3 fan settings instead of 2 (would liked a lower one).- The fan runs a bit after the compressor cuts off. It almost makes it one continuous run with not ever shutting off. Just as soon as it cuts off, it'll cut on a few seconds later because the humidity came back from the fan running.Time will tell how it works out for me. But so far so good. My only real gripe is the side blow vent instead of upwards. Other than that, A++.

Works great! About the sound of maybe number two on a box fan. Beeps when it’s full. Easy to use. Easy to dump water and put back. I move it randomly to opposite ends of my home due to my home being long and a lot of doors.
